What a waste of a tricksy set piece

Tete's goal last night - very nice and all, but it seems like a good plan that's now been wasted on a goal that we didn't really *need* to score.

Shouldn't we be saving those for when we need a second goal?

I'm not sure. It's good to have lots of routines to keep the defenders guessing. We must have scored from about 6 different corner routines this season, quite incredible for us.

I was thinking that our "blocking" at dead ball plays hasn't been seen for a while and now we see this new routine so probably more to come.

A Villa goal was disallowed for blocking at a corner the other night, after VAR looked at something else, but the blocked United player, Cavani? loudly complained to the ref, I noticed.

Good practice though!
