Won today 2-0.... No longer bottom, but possibly more problems ahead

ChesterTheTabby

Their players are really giving it a go!
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Caedal

Rooney is doing a terrific job there

ChesterTheTabby

Think of where they'd be if they didn't have horrendous ownership.

Who cares....We won 6-2.

I care because I hate to see a football club destroyed by appallingly bad owners. I feel for the supporters whichever club it is. And yes, Rooney is doing a remarkable job in the circumstances.

We can't blame Rooney or his side for what happened. They wouldn't be far off play off places. Rooney is working miracles with the lack of finances ans the points deducted. Let's give credit where credit is due

Hating the current Derby side is a bit like hating today's Germans for two world wars. It makes no sense and what was originally totally justified enmity becomes nothing more than bigotry.

Agree with that Twig. I was the game at Derby which cost us promotion many years ago, which was not a pleasant experience, my Mrs (the 2nd 1 at that time) got hit by a coin in the head and we were sitting in the more expensive seats, pretty frightening and those of us that were at the time know the game should have been replayed due to their spectators encroaching on the pitch and the game basically finishing earlier than it should have. We have to move on though, if we were anti every team that we thought Fulham should have beaten, well that would be a long list!

I have to agree. When these penalties are given to clubs it's the supporters who are hurt not the players or the owners who both eventually move on. I was angry at the Derby fans back then but it was so long ago and now I don't care. I really hope Derby escape the drop.

One simple statistic. Only four teams in the league have lost less games than Derby.
I loved today but full credit to Rooney for what he is achieving.
Any football fan should recognise that!
