Not much to post but I've put up what I did find. Strange when I have ample time there's little of interest.
When I'm tight for time there are pages and pages to post.... There's a lesson in that somewhere.

''Can see you getting anything from this based on last nights **** show, if we can keep it to only conceding 3 goals I will be happy.
But then this is city, always unpredictable - so we will prob win 4 nil lol''

'' Founded in 1879, Fulham FC is the oldest professional football team in London
The first British-grown examples of Tamarisk, Acacia, Mahogany and Maple trees were all grown in the gardens of Fulham Palace , summer residence of the Bishops of London. They were grown by Bishop Henry Compton (who held the post from 1675 to 1713), a noted botanist. One of his predecessors grew grapes there, some of which Elizabeth I ate.
Britains 1st speed bumps were installed on Linver Rd in Fulham in 1984.
Fulham, or in its earliest form "Fulanhamme", is thought to have signified the place either "place of fowls" or "of mud"
Approximately 5,000 years ago Neolithic people were living by the riverside and in other parts of the area.
Geoffrey de Havilland, aviation pioneer, built his first aeroplane at his workshop in Bothwell Street, Fulham in 1909
The latest edition (2008) of the Chambers Dictionary defines a fulham as 'a die loaded at the corner to ensure that certain numbers are thrown
The Hurlingham club is the historic home of polo in the United Kingdom and of the world governing body of polo.
Fulham Palace, the seat of the Bishops of London, has the part-excavated longest moat in England.''

'' Football could have been a lot different if Fulham hadn't turned down the chance to move into Stamford Bridge. We could have got further in the Cup in 1966 and Fulham could have been feared for their hooligan supporters.''

'' Do or die. Win Saturday and playoff chances are a solid reality.''

'' Given the absence of Slater and Baxter from last night I dunno if they'll be available. If so, I'd be going with

Baxter,

3 cbs - Jones McLoughlin Greaves

Wing backs Klp and Flemming

Midfield 3 of Slater and Smallwood either side of Honeyman

2 up top of Eaves and Allahyar

Baxter obv seems to give the defence more confidence and tbh I think he is the better keeper
3 cbs and wing backs allows us to revert to a 5 at the back when required but an option to spring forward at pace
Slater adds a bit of mobility in there, I'd have gone for Doc instead of Smallwood but think he needs resting just now, but 2 grafters in there allows George to concentrate on what he does best and spring the attacks forward
Eaves imho didn't deserve to be benched for Tuesday, and in his small cameo last night showed he is more then capable of causing problems with his physicality, with Allahyar in there too it gives pace and a bit more physicality.''

''Did we buy Longman just so we could **** him off to the under 23s? He should be amongst the first names on the team sheet.''

'' KLP Eaves Longman
Docherty Smallwood Honeyman
Fleming Greaves McLoughlin Coyle
Baxter
The Hull City way''

'' I can't call it. I have no idea how the new signings are meant to fit in with the likes of KLP and Honeyman.
Baxter
Jones McLoughlin Greaves
Longman Slater Honeyman Doc Fleming
Eaves KLP

'' Baxter (if fit)
Bernard Greaves Mcloughlin
Longman Slater Smallwood Fleming
Honeyman
Eaves Allahyar''

'' Can't see us doing a "typical Hull City" with this one I'm afraid''

'' Baxter

Coyle Mcloughlin Greaves Fleming

Honeyman Huddlestone Smallwood

Longman Eaves KLP

Longman & KLP need to drop back to flood the midfield when defending,

City 3 - Nowt Fulham''

'' 5-0 Hull
controversial and outrageous are my middle names
Pain in the arse for official documentation''

'' Is this the first match City will play with a foreign coach against a team managed by an ex-City foreign coach?''

'' Baxter - he keeps the ball out the net miles betterer
McLoughlin middle centre back - best centre back
Greaves left centre back - 2nd best centre back
Bernard right centre back - aggressive and quick.
Fleming left wing back - best player 2 out the last 3
Longman right wing back - provides threat on that side going forward.
Smallwood holding mid - break the play up provide options for the back men to pass to.
Honeyman box to box - utilise his energy and ability on the turn to link the midfield to attack
KLP left wing - his actual position try isolate him against the full back
Eaves striker - runs all day nightmare for defenders
Allahyar right wing - pace got a bit of bite and desire to get on the ball.

Playing honeyman more disciplined as he over complicated things further up I feel sometimes. Especially last night. Mixture up front of pace and power from Eaves can make the direct style work more with these 3 up there too as Eaves headers won't be wasted''

'' I don't care what team he picks. We need to move the ball better (quicker and more accurate), we need more options when we have the ball, if we play it long (nothing wrong with mixing it up), make it a pass and not a hopeful hoof. Get ****ing stuck into them and don't let them settle on the ball.
Easy peasy.''

'' I really can't see anything but a Fulham win, but one can live in hope. Certainly need to play 100% better than Tuesday's abject performance. I like the look of:

Baxter
Bernard or Jones/McLoughlin/Greaves
Longman/Smallwood or Slater/Docherty/KLP
Honeyman
Eaves/Allahyar''

'' We need to get 2 strikers playing together, McCann had us all over the place, but funny how, when 2 players were close, we managed to score & win games, despite being overrun in midfield in a lot of games.''

'' Eaves at centre half to spend all match wrestling with Mitrovic.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT''

'' Baxter's still not available''

''Hurt his hand not ill.''

'' Boohoo I've hurt my hand I still have to go to work. And still partaking in recreational activities.''

'' Southerners for you.''

''When your job involves saving footballs at 70mph with your hands every day, probably a good idea to have two fully functioning ones otherwise it might impact your performance.''

'' IMO, Forss needs to have the 2 wide players be narrower. 433 can work, but he needs the KLP and Longman closer to him. Having him play isolated as he was against Derby is a thankless task.''

'' When I lived in London me and a flatmate would go games in the South of England as and when they popped up for either City or his team Bournemouth.

So I tell him we've got a Fulham game on Saturday. Come Saturday morning off we pop into town nice and early. We head to Fulham Broadway and start drinking our way down Fulham Rd towards Putney Bridge in a leisurely manor. At some point we realise there are very few football fans in the pubs and absolutely no City fans.

As we walk up to the ground its absolutely deserted - and the penny drops we are at home and I'm an idiot.''

'' I don't want to reignite the 'we should have bought an experienced centre half' debate but I don't see anyone else in our squad who might be able to keep Mitrovic quiet tomorrow, he's scored 30 goals for heavens sake! Any ideas anyone?.''

'' Spike his drink''

'' Laxatives in his water bottle''

'' No!!! That would just make him run faster.''

'' I think someone's said earlier was to play Tom Eaves at centre back, that might work''

'' Could be well down on the last two weeks attendance wise. Plenty of green still and all blocks still available. Must admit if the weather didn't look so ****e all weekend I'd probably have found something else to do''

''It's glorious sunshine In hull'

'' City 0 v 7 Fulham''

'' Luton drew with them 1-1 maybe we should sign reece burke?''

There isn't anything more and probably won't be much to add today so I guess that's it for Hull.
I remember a much bigger board  a couple of years ago but there was only one I could find this time around

Many thanks for your efforts Terry.  Not too much on their board and none of it controversial. They seem a pretty sensible bunch.

Am I imagining things or did we have a whip round at FFC many years ago to help save Hull from bankruptcy?

Approximately 5,000 years ago Neolithic people were living by the riverside and in other parts of the area.

They can still be found roaming the areas North East & North West of Fulham.

Sgt Fulham

"Luton drew 1-1 with them". Luton are a class above Hull this season, not sure I get the comparison.

If anyone is wondering how De-Havilland took off in a very short Bothwell Street, he transported the plane to Hampshire where there was a bit more room.

Brilliant, thanks for posting, that brings back memories.

S.F.Sorrow

I know Hull have been struggling this season but I always have a bad feeling about Hull away. Looking at the table and the respective squads we should win this of course but I'm expecting a very tough game. I'm not saying I would be happy with a draw (or worse...) but this is one of the remaining game where I think 1 point should be enough to keep us on track for automatic promotion. Hoping for a win of course but don't underestimate The Tigers!
