Coldest I have ever been at a Fulham away game was at Portsmouth back in the 80's. We were 4 down at half time but drew the game. Feet were freezing and I did not warm up for hours.

Ashford for me,soaked right through my top coat,slipped over when Mickey Adams scored penalty.
Travelled home to Suffolk on two trains shaking cold,dried mud all overcoat.
The looks I kept getting from folks,like I was an escaped criminal.🤔

Flew to Basel for that game with a mate and decided to sleep in the hire car overnight after the game as we had a very early flight the next morning - big mistake! Drove over to Zurich airport for the flight home and parked in the multi-storey carpark and tried to sleep in our clothes in the front seats. It was -5 degrees and I don't think either of us slept more than an hour - I can't describe how cold it was! Never again!!

ps. Loved that game and a great atmosphere before, during and after the game - drinking gluhwein outside the ground in gently falling snow before the match with everyone. Loved it!
