As things stand, Fulham need 97 points to guarantee promotion

QPR are currently the best placed to challenge the top two points wise...

If QPR win all their games till the end of the season they will be on 97 points, but they will still have to make up 40+ goals too...

So, as things stand Fulham need 33 points from 16 games to guarantee promotion.

Not bad.

I(But i reckon we will do it earlier than that and will be promoted in early April).

Which would be a point short of our total if we continued on our current points-per-game for the rest of the season.

QPR have never got more than 17 points in any run of 8 games this season, which means the maximum anyone could expect from them is 2.13 points per game (or another 32 points) so QPR can get a maximum of 84 points and we will be ahead on goal difference.

The team that scares me more is Sheffield United who averaged 2.5 points per game over 10 games, which means they could get up to near 87 points at best form. Either way, we should be able to better than 87 points and if we cannot we won't survive the EPL.

As long as we get at least 10 points in the five games (3W, 1D & 1L) below:

Fulham vs Peterborough
Cardiff vs Fulham
Swansea vs Fulham
Barnsley vs Fulham
Fulham vs Preston

Then we have 74 points with 11 other games, leaving us needing around a point per game.
