A bit of nostalgia. Me being a collector of pre '60 (19) programmes was reading one for February 19th 1955 Div 2 v Plymouth Argyle. (Lost 2-3 Robson 2) They used to interview up and coming or new to the team players. Some never realised their dreams and never made it to the first team or played just once. (Mind you I could live with that!) That day it was a young keeper who had played three reserve games. Elio Macedo. The last question was 'What of the future?' 'I'm dead keen on becoming a professional footballer.' Well Tony, after making 391 appearances, still regarded by many as the best keeper we have had since the war and also being considered as the best 'keeper never to play for England I think you did.  :54:
