Every time a team who could, theoretically, push us into 3rd place loses, we are that bit nearer our goal. And with QPR, Huddersfield and Blackburn all losing this weekend, our loss against WBA looks much less serious.

The likes of Luton, Sheffield United, Middlesborough and Nottingham Forest either won or did not play. But any of them getting enough points in the next ten or fewer games to catch us is surely only a theoretical possibiity. None will go unbeaten, and we certainly won't lose all nine of ours.

The problem from here is not going up, but staying up. Play like we did against WBA and we'll get slaughtered in the Prem., whether by Man City or Brentford. Let's hope we have a realistic target or two to strengthen the squad already identified.

Concentrate on the present and remember we are not up yet, more points are needed and our last two performances were not good. The next match is possibly one of the easiest of our remaining fixtures although QPR have ideas of a play off place which means they will be up for a fight.
Essential we get things together after yet another wretched international break and put in a good performance and score some goals at Loftus Road.

That's exactly it, going up with some 'swagger' or going up like 'misfits', we need to show 'quality and desire'.
