so that's our 8th 3-2 home win in the PL. Was that a better win than the 3-2 win against Spurs with the 95th minute winner from Legwinski? Quite possibly!

And today saw a lot of firsts. Our first ever 3-2 win v Brentford. Brentford's first ever 2-3 defeat against Fulham. Our first ever top flight match v Brentford. Our first ever win in the top flight v Brentford. Brentford's first ever top flight defeat v Fulham. Our first ever 3-2 top flight win v Brentford. And so on.

I'm sure I read somewhere that that was the first 3-2 win over Brentford in the PL but for the life of me I can't remember where I read it.

Silva said before the match that he put a lot of importance on clean sheets so I suspect he may have prefered a 1-0 victory.
I was happy with the result and so pleased to see three goals go in.
Just four  more home goals now needed to match our total at the Cottage when last in the Premier league.
