Having to score at least three goals to win coming to fruition where Fulham are concerned. Entertaining as it is I can't see anything other than it causing issues further down the line. We might just get away with it this month and seeing as only two games in November before the long break to take stock. You can't keep conceding like we are and not expect to get drawn in to the relegation battle. It's a good solid start but it can be undone so quickly in the next few games. Noticed a few pundits on TV and the Radio lately starting to raise the question of Fulham's defending. Three big games to finish this month and against teams where scoreline could be anything and everything.

Precisely, and we do not have the armoury to be capable of scoring more goals than we concede unfortunately.
As anyone knows when surgery is needed on a team that has issues up front and at the back and even in the centre.
You have to make the team difficult to score against, and in doing so the domino effect is you then make the team difficult to beat.
That way if you keep a clean sheet you only need to score one goal to win a game.
Now that may not be everyone's cup of tea but you have to face reality.
Goals change games that is why we have to be capable of scoring to win a match.

Let's face it, we are in the Premier League where they take no prisoners if you are under par. Clubs at that level will be ruthless and fresh out of mercy, and so they should be.
Also we have to remind ourselves that there is also more money at stake which ups the anti.

So we can only hope that the training sessions and drills are concentrating on depth, delay and balance in defensive areas.
The defence coaches need to step up a gear.
Saturday was not the first time we have conceded an early goal.
We need to wake up and not sleep walk across the pitch and concentrate more at the commencement of games.
After all they have all week to discuss organise and prepare.
That is the key, and defending from the front is so important especially these days, as players are all wired up to win their own battles in their systems of play.

I would rather the problem be leaking goals than experiencing a long goal drought.

Not so sure about that  WM.
We have a stronger attacking side this year and we did spank a
few teams last year.

Scoring goals freely in the Championship is a different world to the Premier League.
Although we have adjusted a lot better on this occasion so far compared to the previous two promotions, and a lot of that is due to a high press.
Nevertheless the warning signs are there in defensive areas where we have shipped goals unnecessarily.

It's a two way matter, if you are missing chances up front it puts pressure on the defence not to concede.
in the same way that if you are leaking goals that should have been prevented, you put pressure on the forwards to score more goals.
Don't get me wrong, this is constructive criticism, or should i say reality.
So how is it fixed.
You have to be proactive not reactive, you have seen managers dwell on making subs until it is too late for that player to have time to make a proper impact, he who hesitates is lost.

Whether you like it or not the defence has to be the launching pad, nothing worse for a goalkeeper than to have a shaky defence, as it makes him nervous, and a bery keeper is no good to anyone.
The fact that many times it has been stated that we need to score 3 to stand a chance of winning a game in the Premier League.
How many team can score three more often than not in the EPL.
I would love it if we kept winning 4 3, but in the real world you have to cut down your goals conceded if you are struggling to get points on the board, but at the same time adopt a system of play that embraces the opportunity to score freely.
That is why managers are lucratively paid to find a solution, and if they do not they are thrown under a Steam Roller, or is it a Cement Mixer, the memory fades.
