You might be right in your assumption that Mitro is unfit
but Serbia had no ambition in this game. Lets see how he goes in the next two winnable games when we will probably see more of Serbia.

He definitely does not look fit. He is barely moving and hardly did a sprint.

I thought he looked okay. He was isolated for large parts of this half. Referee seems quite biased? Or am I imagining things?

He didn't give ANYTHING to Serbia during the first half. Absolutely ridiculous refereeing.

Also Brazil players are pathetic with their diving. We were poor in the second half and deserved too lose but I thought the referee and were disgraceful.

I'm not sure if he's unfit. I think he was isolated. He looked much fitter than in the last few games for Fulham. We'll see in our next game against Cameroon if I'm right or you are.

Knew he wasn't on goal and going wide and waited for the touch of the defender and then made out he was shot!

One of the best quotes (being completely derogatory to Serbia) was "This will give England a lift", because it was 0-0 at half time. As though Brazil should be humiliating by half time. Serbia are not there because they are whipping boys

Presuming he isn't fit, i could understand if he was their only option; but they also have Dusan Vlahovic  on the bench

He has 52 goals in 104 Serie-A games in the last 3 and a bit seasons (currently 6 in 10 this season), and 8 in 13 for Serbia in the last two years. So basically someone arguably better than Mitro!!

I'm in the same boat.  Couldn't care less how Serbia do, in fact the sooner they get knocked out the better, which gives Mitro more time to recover and not risk injury.  Same goes for Wales and USA.

Completely Agree about Ronaldo

I said £75m plus Mitro for Ronaldo would be a good deal, because i thought he would be humble with us. I will take that back (in a few short days) and revert back to my original thoughts that he is damaged goods.
I will even go as far as to say his career is pretty much over. Not because his body has given up, but his mind.
He can score goals, but he just damages the team

Tend to agree with the above.  And Mitrovic did look 'off' his game.  Maybe still favoring his foot/ankle issues.  Anyway, the sooner Serbia, Wales and USA get tonked out of the competition the better.  As a FFC fan, my primary concern right now is the Crystal Palace tilt and the league games that follow.  Sure, I will watch the WC with some mild interest, and would hope that FFC players have good outings so they are feeling good about themselves when they return to CC.

I agree, Mitro looked more than off, he was terrible. some say he was isolated but that can only explain so much. We all know Hes form and he doesn't stay isolated for long.  I just hope its still not that prolonged injury, or we are in big trouble.
