Fulham Women make it three wins in a row
Fulham Women made it three wins in a row with a commanding 3-0 victory over Enfield Town in the snow at Motspur Park this afternoon.

Steve Jaye's side followed up fine victories over top of the table Millwall Lionesses and Dulwich Hamlet with a dominant display in the freezing cold as goals from Ellie Olds, Ede Buchele and an Enfield own goal secured another precious three points. The visitors had their own chances in what was very open encounter and the Whites were indebted to another superb showing from goalkeeper Holly Cowan as they kept a second successive clean sheet.

Fulham struggled to play their usual fluent football in challenging conditions even though the lively Georgia Heasman rattled the woodwork with a shot as early as the second minute. They did take the lead just after the quarter hour mark when Enfield goalkeeper Grace Taylor was caught out by Olds' cross, which flew into the net off the far post. The Whites doubled the lead just five minutes later when Heasman supplied a precise cross for teenage striker Buchele, who buried a brilliant finish from seven yards out.

The hosts ended the first period very much on top with a terrific free-kick from Tia Foreman well saved by Taylor. Heasman almost put the Whites further in front immediately after the restart following a sweeping move but the winger's shot whistled agonisingly wide. Enfield committed bodies forward as they searched for a route back into the contest and Cowan made a wonderful double save to deny Olivia Syson as she looked set to halve the visitors' arrears.

The home side were soon back on the front foot. A beautiful ball from Alex Hayman set Olds away down the left flank but Taylor did well to turn her fierce drive aside for a corner. Enfield's reprieve was short-lived, however, as Heasman did brilliantly to trick her way past two tacklers on the byline and her low cross was diverted past Taylor by the unfortunate Beth Powell at the near post.

Both sides had chances to add to the scoreline as the snow fell much heavier and a cold wind swirled around Motspur Park, but Cowan made another couple of excellent late saves to ensure that Fulham's goal difference got another healthy boost. The win moves the Whites level on points with Millwall at the top of the table.

AC Milan want to revive Robinson interest
AC Milan are ready to revive their longstanding interest in Antonee Robinson – according to the Sun – after watching their city rivals Inter Milan scouting the Fulham full back during the World Cup.

The American defender was outstanding for Gregg Berhalter's side as they reached the last 16 in Qatar by drawing with England and beating Iran. The 25 year-old was close to signing for AC Milan after being recommended to the club by Paolo Maldini but his dream move from Wigan Athletic fell through when a routine medical detected a heart murmur.

Robinson, now firmly established as Marco Silva's first choice at left back, has been outstanding upon Fulham's return to the Premier League this season – and we understand that Fulham's hierarchy would reject any attempts to lure him away from SW6 in January. The Cottagers' position is strengthened by the fact that both Milan giants have significant cash flow problems. Robinson is also reportedly very happy at Craven Cottage, recognising the importance of first-team football in bolstering his burgeoning international career.

A move to Italy wouldn't necessarily prove a step forward for the ex-Everton youngster. AC Milan would likely use him as a back up or – as Alan Nixon's story suggests, loan him out initially, whilst Inter's interest is dependent on them selling several frustrated full backs in advance.

How Fulham became a serious threat from corners
For a Fulham fan of a certain vintage, seeing the Whites becoming a serious threat from corners is a wonderful thing. Our very own Lydia Campbell picked up on how Marco Silva had made his new charges much more dangerous from set plays last season and the Athletic's Peter Rutzler was across the idea of the Cottagers' taking a leaf out of the NBA playbook from fairly early on in the campaign.

The excellent Adrian Clarke has produced the perfect primer for the Premier League's website. He highlights Tosin Adarabioyo's terrific header at Nottingham Forest – the one which sparked the most sensational of six-minute turnarounds – as well as examining Aleksandar Mitrovic's effort against Aston Villa. But Silva and his coaching staff have had to become more inventive at Motspur Park after the television pundits picked up on their methods, which means there are plenty of variations to go through.

The key, of course, is having a consistently excellent corner taker – something Fulham have struggled with until the arrival of Andreas Pereira this summer. The Brazilian is relishing a regular run in the side having never really had the opportunity to translate his talent into Premier League performances at Manchester United and his deliveries have been devastatingly effective. Pereira has created eighteen chances from corners alone already this campaign – the second highest in the top flight behind Newcastle United's Kieron Trippier.

Having utilised all of Stuart Gray's knowhow to become more streetwise when defending set pieces, Fulham are now posing problems in the opposition's area as well. It is just another aspect of how well the Whites have stepped up to play at the top level this season.

Glasgow Rangers: Josh Onomah is "on Beale's radar"

An update has emerged on Glasgow Rangers and their interest in signing Josh Onomah in the upcoming January transfer window...

What's the talk?

Journalist Pete O'Rourke has claimed that the Light Blues head coach is keen on a deal to sign the Fulham attacking midfielder next month, as he was also looking at the gem in his previous job.

The reporter told GIVEMESPORT: "I believe he does like Josh Onomah from Fulham.

"He was interested in possibly signing him when he was at QPR, so he's a player that's definitely on Beale's radar."

Ryan Kent 2.0

The Gers could now land their next version of Kent by securing a deal to sign Onomah as he could follow in the ex-Liverpool man's footsteps by failing to fulfil his potential in England before excelling in Scotland.

Prior to arriving at Ibrox in 2018, the current Light Blues star had failed to score a single goal in 16 outings for Freiburg and Bristol City combined in the Bundesliga and Championship – on loan from Liverpool. He had also only managed three goals and three assists in 44 second-tier matches for Barnsley in the 2016/17 campaign.

However, Kent was able to hit his stride in a Rangers shirt and has racked up 31 goals and 53 assists in 196 games in all competitions for the club to date, with Beale working with him as the assistant manager for the first three years.

Onomah, meanwhile, has failed to score or assist a single goal in his last 13 Premier League appearances for Fulham across the 2020/21 and 2022/23 campaigns so far.

This shows that, like the current Gers gem, the midfielder has struggled to make his mark at the top level and that a move to the Premiership could allow him to kickstart his career.

Fulham's midfielder has shown that he has the scope to develop into a player capable of making a big impact in the final third. The 25-year-old wizard produced four goals and six assists in 28 starts in the club's last two Championship seasons combined – winning promotion in both of them.

Onomah, who journalist Josh Bunting once claimed has "huge potential", was also capped a whopping 58 times by England at youth level and this shows that he was seen as a promising young player by his country.

Beale must now bring him to Rangers and provide the gem with the chance to make a name for himself in the Premiership, just as Kent has over the last few years.
