We simply have to buy another forward. If we don;t it would be an amazingly brave/stupid thing to do and would in all probability lead to us getting relegated.

Would like to see Warnock come in but I doubt that it would happen.

I would also keep Murphy in the team.

We haven't had a dominating, controlling, skillful playmaker as good as Murphy since Johnny Haynes was at his best.

He sees more of the ball than anyone else, has a very high accuracy rating and is constantly talking to other players demanding that they perform to his instructions. Everything creative happens through him.

He is a very high quality player that we will probably never adequately replace and certainly not by Sidwell or anyone else we might sign this month.

I'm something of a fan.

Murphy should definatly be in the team. For me Sidwell is more likely to compete with Etuhu for a place in the team. Might be an offensive midfield but playing for Reading Sidwell showed that he both can defend and attack.

Gera is a midfielder
Dempsey is a midfielder
Dembele is a winger

Right now, Mark has three strikers to choose among: Eddie Johnson, Andrew Johnson, and Dio Kamara. I would lie a Fulham side on Feb 1 to feature replacements for EJ and Dio.

I still think Mark might be looking at three central midfield formation with 1 striker up top and 2 attacking midfielders wide.

Without Murphy we struggle, JP and Duff are  hitting form again,  no chance of Keane coming and he is only a super sub so basically not a good selection

is Dembele a winger though,seems a bit of a waste to someone who can beat players with skill on the wing,I would play him the the Gera role
