Duffy. Good solid performance.  Cairney did either tire or fall away after 30mins

I have no idea where this 30 minutes comes from. Other than the whole team losing steam around the half hour mark. From my view he was the best player on the pitch by some distance for 90 minutes. At least Silva seems to agree, in a quite unusual and unprompted praising of an individual. Glad that he acknowledged it, because such was the difference in class between TC and the rest. In my opinion.

i agree sting. he was flicking the ball down the line and making runs in the second half.
in the 59th minute he played mitro in with an accurate pass who then managed to get the ball to pereira to score our second. and in the 82nd minute headed the ball in for duffy to head on for kurzawa to score our third. and in the final minute made that run where he ended up over running it.
not as evident as in the first 30 but sunderland really came into it.  hopefully he is fit enough to warm the bench for an hour or so as usual or however marco wants to use him.

TC, first half unbelievably good, skilful, and basically too strong.
Faded in the second half but still MOTM by a mile.

TC didn't disappear and was class pushed by a great Duffy performance and was the strongest CD on the pitch which he needed to be as tosin doesn't seem on his game right now.
