Posted a couple of days after the Man U cup game about the last penalty one of our opponents missed being 12th February 2020 (Jed Wallace, Millwall). At that point we'd had 22 consecutive penalties scored against us, not one saved or missed (Leno, Rodak, Gazzaniga, Areola).

In consecutive games Haaland and Salah have scored penalties against us so our rather depressing running total is 24...........

Often find myself thinking about this too. There's a bizarre fatalism around the club and penalties where we expect to miss ours and concede every one against us. Despite having a great keeper and manager in Leno and Marco, this still hasn't shifted.

Hard to pinpoint why this is, but I can't help conceding to the inevitability of it all.

it wouldn't be so bad but today's was a dive, de bryune was a dive west ham was an assault ion our player and so on
