There are few that can be called legends. There are few that everybody will know the name without always liking the product.

But Tina Turner was a hero to many and worked hard to make it against the odds. Left a great musical legacy behind and will forever be a musical legend.

A very Brave woman who gave up the beatings she took from Her husband. She had already had a successful career as part or ike and Tina Turner she resurrected the Brand as Tina Turner. She was a legend Rip to one of the greatest singers of my lifetime

I saw Tina about 35 years ago. Not my favourite gendre but one of the best live performances I have ever seen.

RIP   A legend lost.

Back in the day, I saw Ike and Tina Turner and the Ikettes perform live.  Terrific show.  The Ikettes, including of course Tina, could really shake the booty!  High energy the whole show.  Glad I was able to see live.  A great performer and success story based on her troubles (Ike) earlier in life.

Tina T a giant in the world of pop and R&B

She was incredibly badly treated by Ike but like so many of his ilk Ike was also a victim because of his life style circumstances. i am not excusing him but he was a genius and without him, she wouldn't have happened.

I wasn't her greatest fan and didn't want to see her but was pesudaded to go a show at the O2. W£ow! she was brilliant, one of the very best performers I have seen.

Don't know how to post YouTube vids, but just saw a great clip.  Maybe someone can find this and post.  From Ed Sullivan show, Ike and Tina Turner Revue, doing Proud Mary.  Really a fun watch.
