This may be of interest to the older supporters among us. An avid collector of Fulham programmes from the '50's(19) I advertised a few duplicated on eBay. These were sold to a chap up in the north east. I had to ask if he was a fan of the legendary Whites, no but he used to watch them in the 1960's. Now, as he has a friend who is a relation to a certain Bedford Jezzard, he has been trying to find out more about him. I told him in no uncertain terms that I will never forget Beddy, both for his playing and his management of the club.   

I also took the liberty of saying that those other current supporters who saw him play and enjoyed his management have not forgotten Beddy. I also mentioned the shabby way Beddy was forced to leave the club and never to return once.
