Great striker.. seeing as we seem to be getting knocked back left, right and centre.. maybe we should put all our eggs in one basket to land him? maybe even that wouldnt be enough..

I think he would be an excellent buy for the club.

Shouldn't cost too much, & I'm sure his wages would fit in with our structure!

You obviously haven't switched on SSN or any other sports website/channel this afternoon mate... He's going for £18 million, and I'm pretty sure he's earning far, far more than any of our current players.

It wasn't that long ago, Bent made the top 50 wage earners in the world! HOW? You may ask. We all may ask. I believe it was brought to my attention by a FoF member posting. Thing is, he is a real journeyman so if he is worth so much how come he keeps getting moved on?

He isn't worth the huge transfer sum / wages, but I wouldn't mind seeing him along side Zamora at Fulham.

He's on 70k at Sunderland - presumably 80k at Villa Park.
