I think this may have been the subject of a thread a while ago,  but I can't find it.

I've lived in Brighton since the mid 80s and for a lot of that time I only knew of one other Cottager in the town. Over the last decade or so, thanks to FoF and social media,  I've met and 'reached out' to plenty more Brighton and Sussex based fans, but today, I've twice experienced the power of wearing a Fulham shirt around town.

1. I spoke to someone at a Thai Festival in my local park who was wearing the retro Johnny Haynes shirt. He lives in Horsham.
2. I'm just back from one of my locals and the barmaid commented on my 28 Carvalho t shirt. She's from Putney and became a fan after hearing the roar from the Cottage and pestering her dad to take her.

In both cases they were lovely people and happy to meet another Fulham fans 'out of context'. It kind of brought it home what a special (& 'small') club we are and (generally) what a lovely bunch of supporters.

Wear your shirt with pride.
Up The Fulham.

I was at an opening of a Coral's bookies in Hove a few years ago where Geoff Hurst was doing the ceremonies.
I asked if one of the Coral's staff would take a photo of Geoff and me and it turned out the member of staff supported Fulham.
There are quite a few of us in this neck of the woods as the Marathonbet get together proved a while back.
Do you have any photos of the group you can post of this Shreadhead?
There must have been 30 -40 of us at the event.
I'm sure a few of the posters on here came.
Even David Lloyd attended!

Was on the I.O.W last summer and met a family of fanatical Fulham fans who live there now.
The alpha male of them KNOWS everything there is to KNOW about Fulham.

We try to get down to Seaford at the weekends so we may well have spotted you Shredhead as I've occasionally seen FFC shirts in both Brighton & Lewes.

I cycled through Seaford today, although without my Fulham cycling kit on (wish the club would resurrect that - maybe with the pink shirt?). Yes, there is a Lewes community - bumped into them at the John Harvey Tavern. Brighton probably numbers 20-30 I can recognise.

Only on Friday in my local pool in Killingworth ,Newcastle.
I was in the lanes doing my mile front crawl.
When in the general swimming on a lads'arm i spotted a Fulham badge tatoo.
Went straight over and started chatting. The reason he supports Fulham is Kevin Keegan was his hero
he started supporting Fulham when he became our manager. And a big fan still to this day.Looks like his son is following in his footsteps as well.

What a brilliant story!

Preston was two of us working for the same company. Which was the best time as a Fulham fan at the time. Going to Burton away in the league cup.

Burntheashes

Local grocery store, bumped into one wearing Amorebieta at his back, mine was Burn, we nodded.

That was the year after we got down to EPL with Magath.

Ronnief

I was starting a new job and was keen to impress by swotting up for the job. No need as one of the bosses recognised me from the enclosure.  ::scarf::

I had a job interview about 20 years ago and spotted a Fulham fc clock on a filing cabinet, anyway got the job and the clock when the Manager left some years later, cheers Bob  ::scarf::
Guy goes into the doctor's.
"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

A few years ago on holiday I went on a walking tour of Budapest - the guide was a diehard Fulham fan largely because of Zoltan Gera.
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

I now live in Stratford Upon Avon and was invited to a Christmas drink by my new neighbour, which included a few other friends.

Anyway, i got talking to a chap and discovered he was from London....

I asked - where abouts?

I was born in Fulham!

i support Fulham

I was a season ticket holder for years, i assumed i was the only FFC supporter in this town.

I was born in Harrow and moved up to this area 20 years ago

Then we ruined the social side of the party by discussing Fulham through the decades... memories, players, favourite games, heroes, villains.... My other half found it amusing and carried on drinking!!

lamby

I am always bumping into them here in Melbourne Australia! I own a bunch of merch that I am always wearing that helps start conversations. The latest was someone who had last season's hideous away top on  ::smile::

Shredhead

Just bumped into a lad in J.Palhinha shirt in Split, Croatia. I 'Up the Fulham'd him and we had a bit of a cry about Little Straw leaving.

Any other sightings on holiday this year?
