Am I missing something?

Almost everyone keeps saying how they definitely won't struggle this season, lots of people saying they'll definitely be top half, even some pundits put them in top half when predicting final positions.

While they did get a lot of points last season, I wasn't particularly impressed with them anytime I've seen them. Likewise this season. Granted, they played two tough teams in Man City and now Villa, but I just don't get the hype.

They are lightweight, big time. Pleasing on the eye but no actual bite and defensively they are frail. I suspect that by the end of October when their confidence is shot, they will be in freefall.

I am guessing the media like them because of Kompany.

Sheffield United thought they had managed to draw with Man City by scoring five minutes before the ninety were up. But City struck again three minutes later.

Good to see so many of the lesser teams worrying the top sides.
