Always worked hard for the team.  Always seemed happy for the team whether he played or not.
We bought a decent player, whose creativity and skill diminished like many others, under our manager at the time.

Simple really. The remarks about him when playing were down to his poor performances for us, not because of his character or his effort. I seem to remember alot of people praising him for his work rate. Unfortunately that's all he really had to offer in the end

I never complain about any player who puts in 100% and Knockaert did. I despair at those that took cheap shots at him. All you can ask of a player is that they give everything. It is not the player's fault if he comes up short.
