Thoughts on the new time-wasting rules?

It's worth a try - better than ignoring the time wasting that goes on - but like others I would much prefer the time clock used as in rugby. It's interesting when goalies are given a yellow for timewasting early in the game as it puts the ref under more pressure than the goalie. Will he have the bottle to give a second? I suspect he will be as lenient as he can in those circumstances, knowing that a sending off will follow.

I think it's a great improvement. When teams are ahead there's far less constant rolling around on the deck after a tap as though they've been shot by an assassin. Also, it's largely stopped the nonsense of a goalie like Pickford going to ground every time he catches a ball that a five year old could with his eyes closed while eating a muffin.
