It looks like the owners are panicking about getting relegated ,mainly if they finish the stand this year it will be 2 years of marketing and planning to use the basement,functions,private members club,they might apply for a casino,hotel and pier,corporate meetings and fitness centre that could take all of the 3 years of silvas new contract.But the problem is we haven't got the staff on and off the pitch to make it happen.Williams and ream too old,defence is not good enough,as a club we don't score all round the team,which to me points to 1 forward and 2 inverted wingers is a flawed system if they all don't score with suds who score as well and from midfield no goals,ickie lukic reed and 31 year old Tom not goal scores,can't see half a team being bought to put us on the right path for survival,a good well run board of directors would not have given a new 3 year deal to a coach who won't change his style to suit the situation in hand or players who cant adapt to change it will be a very challenging season.

Do you deliberately go out of your way to moan about everything the club does because you hate the owners that much? I can't think of anyone but you that's not reacted positively to Silva extending his contract, and here you are bashing the club for giving him a new deal. Why don't we settle on we've got a challenge with injuries, and our top striker was sold near the end of the transfer window for £65m.

Plus we've got another player worth £80m that may or may not be going to Bayern.....

To me the shining light is Silva and the back room are staying
