NFR: Anthony Taylor DEMOTED

I learned from the commentary that Anthony Taylor the so-called top referee had been demoted this weekend to refereeing in the Championship. He was the fourth official in today's "L" derby suffering an ear bashing from a foaming at the mouth Jurgen Klopp so much that he called in ref Andy Madeley to book the bearded, gleaming white gnashered Teuton.

Apparently it was the award of a dodgy penalty in the Wolves game v Newcastle that caused his censure. It shows refs chief Howard Webb will punish even the highest ranked officials if they perform below certain standards.

Taylor is one of the most controversial refs in the business, who gives what he wants to see and not what he actually sees. Hope Preston & Coventry didn't suffer his grandstanding incompetance too much.
