FA Cup games should be 3pm on Saturday, ridiculous spreading them around like this, takes all the excitement and tradition  out of the competition.

The Cravenette

I think its because the blue poo are at home. They seem to get first dibs on the Saturday.

It is so annoying when it's not even on tv.

JimmyConway

One man and his dog for this game then! What about the poor Rotherham fans? Fans treated like dirt yet again though Fulham's hand was probably forced they now have to compete the same evening against two all premier league cup ties in the Capital?Good luck to the commercial team trying to sell this one. Will be a good Barometer this to see if there in tune with the fans.

One good thing
District Line Shut Parsons Green to Wimbledon on Sat 6 and Sun 7

11 London clubs (if you include Watford as London) at home is difficult for policing.  And I bet a good number of Rotherham fans will be pleased to have a weekend in London.
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

It was a racing certainty that they would get the Saturday fixture just as they always get Boxing Day at home.

Oh dear whatever happened to 3pm Saturday afternoon matches which got us out of Saturday afternoon shopping with the wife.

Let's see what idea the Commercial Department come up with for selling tickets for this one on a cold Friday January evening immediately after Christmas. They've isolated many mainstream fans with their pricing strategy over the past two years so don't think that those will now drop everything to attend this game even if they reduce prices. The damage done with this pricing Strategy is long term; if we stay in Premier League it will not be evident with tourists and opposition fans buying 'home' tickets but if we don't maintain Premier League status our fanbase will continue to be eroded and those neglected over these past few years may return for Championship prices whilst others, like me, have established alternative routines for weekends and so returning to attend games will be something not automatic.

"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

Both clubs have to agree the prices I believe for a FA Cup game. I think you've got it right but we'll see.
I feel for the Rotherham fans. I'm not sure how many would want to pay out for a weekend in London given the typical prices I'm charged in pubs and restaurants in town

I reckon pricing may depend on whether we have a League Cup semi-final to look forward to or not. If we are involved in the LCsf I would guess tickets for that would start from around £30, and the Club would need to come up with an attractive price to get a decent gate for Rotherham.

And - IF we get past Everton, which is no given bearing in mind some of their recent results - the Friday night against Rotherham gives a bit of breathing space ahead of any possible 1st Leg,

It's because all 7 London clubs have been drawn at home I think

It has to be better than a Friday night in Rotherham.

Somerset Fulham

There are an absolute stack of London clubs drawn at home so it makes sense.  There is nobody to blame for this one lads.

The police apparently wanted games moved as much as possible. Not sure Fulham, Brentford, QPR, and Chelsea have all been drawn at home before. It's just disappointing our one, a bog-standard "bigger club vs smaller club" was moved.

It's a great draw for some though let's try and be positive, let's remember all the supporters that have been priced out of seeing Fulham play hopefully they take the opportunity to pick up some tickets and back the boys  ::scarf::

Any stat minded people know what the odds on FFC, Dog Track XI, Steptoe and Son Rangers and The Bus Stop all being drawn at home was?
