Tottenham and West Ham in tussle for signing – Player earns £2.4m gross per year
Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo on their radar, according to a report from Italy.

AC Milan are keen and Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Tuesday that they 'will be first in line' to secure the 26-year-old's services in the summer.

The Serie A side's firm desire to sign the defender is backed up by Calciomercato, who also mention Tottenham and West Ham.

CM: Why Fulham star is a profile Moncada is keeping a close eye on
AC Milan decided to postpone the signing of another centre-back until the summer transfer window and one of the names high on their list is Tosin Adarabioyo of Fulham.

As Calciomercato.com write, Milan have circled Adarabioyo's name in red in view of June, when his contract with Fulham will expire thus making him available on a free transfer.

Having come through the Manchester City academy, the 1.96m tall central defender may well choose to try a new experience at the end of the season and Geoffrey Moncada certainly appreciates his qualities.

Born in Manchester to Nigerian parents, Adarabioyo has a brother who is a footballer: Fisayo, a striker in the Dutch second division. His career began with City (when he was still 6 years old, in 2003) and with the Citizens he made his first team debut thanks to Pellegrini in 2016.

A few months later he also made his debut in the Champions League with Pep Guardiola, in a match against Steaua Bucharest. In 2018 he went on loan to West Bromwich and then to Blackburn, before the definitive sale to Fulham in the summer of 2020, for €2m.

That would prove to be the right move for him in terms of playing time, with 117 games played for the London club, plus four goals and two assists across all competitions.

His imposing physique, combined with physical strength and great ability in aerial duels are the main characteristics of the centre-back. However, he has speed both in striding out with the ball and recovery pace.

Adarabioyo true leader as also underlined by his head coach Marco Silva, who recently welcomed him back after the defender had been out of action for three months due to a groin problem.

"He's one of the leader in our dressing room, a special player. For the way he knows how to defend the area, but also for the way he goes on the ball and the way he knows how to build out," he said.

He can play either in a back four or as an outside centre-back in a three-man defence, meaning Adarabioyo is flexible in every situation. Milan knows this and are studying him for the summer.

"True leader" – Fulham player getting big compliments as summer rumours grow
It seems Fulham will really have to worry about AC Milan's interest in Tosin Adarabioyo next summer.

Back on Tuesday morning, we saw Gazzetta Dello Sport claiming the centre-back will remain a target for the Serie A giants, following their attempts to sign him last month.

Now as Calcio Mercato write about the Fulham player, they completely hype him up ahead of a potential summer transfer.

After claiming that Milan targeted Adarabioyo, they write that 'his imposing structure, combined with physical strength and great ability in aerial duels' could help the Rossoneri.

Calcio Mercato call the 26-year-old an 'extremely modern central defender' and a 'true leader', making it clear Milan should go for him.

Adarabioyo's contract with Fulham expires at the end of the season, and there are no signs of where he will play in 2024/25.

Despite missing a big part of the current season due to surgery, he ended up becoming an important piece in Marco Silva's side, having started in their last nine Premier League matches.

That's more than a good reason for Fulham to attempt a contract renewal with him. However, with Milan and others now trying to attract him, that could be a hard task for the Whites.

Milan in talks with Fulham defender linked with Tottenham and West Ham – report
Milan are reportedly in talks with Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo over a possible free transfer in the summer, but Tottenham and West Ham are also interested in the 26-year-old.

Milan are looking for defensive reinforcement for next season and have set their sights on Fulham centre-back Adarabioyo.

The English defender had emerged as an option for the Rossoneri during the January transfer window, but with a contract expiring this coming June, the Serie A giants remain interested in a possible free transfer over the summer.

According to Calciomercato.com, preliminary talks between the Rossoneri and the player's entourage have already begun. Adarabioyo is reportedly unwilling to extend his contract with Fulham so he is expected to leave on a free transfer in June.

Tottenham and West Ham are also said to be interested in the 26-year-old, who currently earns circa €3m per season.

Adarabioyo has scored one goal in 16 appearances with Fulham across all competitions this term.

Tottenham want to sign "special" player on a free transfer, he is willing to join them
Tottenham want to sign Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer this summer – when his contract with Fulham expires.

That is according to Calciomercato.

So, what is the situation involving Tosin Adarabioyo and Tottenham? Let's take a look...

Tottenham eye free transfer deal for Tosin Adarabioyo
Well, Ange Postecoglou seems keen to bring another central defender to N17 – despite the £26m signing of Radu Dragusin from Genoa.

The story from Calciomercato states that Adarabioyo has no intention of signing of a new contract at Craven Cottage, with his current terms expiring on June 30th.

AC Milan are also believed to be keen on a deal to sign the Fulham No.4 this summer – with West Ham mentioned as an interested party too.

Tottenham have admired Adarabioyo for some time now by the looks of it, and – according to Alasdair Gold of Football London – the Englishman would be "up" for a move to Spurs.

The reliable journalist told the Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham Podcast: "We've spoken about Tosin Adarabioyo at Fulham, Spurs have certainly retained an interest there.

"I understand that if all parties were able to agree a deal he would be up for the move to Spurs, but financially it probably wouldn't benefit him as much."

Adarabioyo – who was called a "special" player by Marco Silva – has made 16 appearances in all competitions for Fulham so far this season, scoring one goal.

Tottenham have an alternative
As aforesaid, Postecoglou certainly seems keen to find another central defender despite the arrival of Dragusin, as Tottenham have also been linked with a move to sign Bologna No.33 Riccardo Calafiori.

It was Corriere di Bologna who claimed that Spurs are monitoring the Italy U21 international.

However, Calafiori is valued at £26m by Bologna – whereas Adarabioyo would be free – so the Fulham colossus seems to be the likelier signing, in our view at least.

"Didn't let himself down" – Leno praises Fulham teammate for reaction to disappointment, but admits it may still linger in his mind
Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno has praised teammate Joao Palhinha for his reaction to his failed move to Bayern Munich, even if he does worry it's still lingering in the back of the midfielder's mind.

The German has been speaking to BILD regarding life at Fulham, his plans for the future and the transfer drama around his teammate in the summer.

Palhinha had found himself at the top of Bayern's wishlist after an impressive year at Fulham and appeared set for a move to Bavaria when a deal was agreed. He even flew to complete medical tests and even do media work for Bayern.

However, he saw the deal collapse on deadline day in the summer when Fulham refused to sanction the transfer as they had failed to find a suitable replacement for him.

That naturally led to huge disappointment for the midfielder, who was seen to be visibly upset at how things had panned out.

Rather than dwelling on the matter, though, he instead returned to Fulham and signed a new deal at the club before kicking on and continuing where he left off last season.

That's not often an approach we see from footballers in the modern game when they don't get their own way, and Leno is keen to praise his teammate for bucking the trend.

"Joao was already in Munich, everything seemed safe.  In the end it didn't work out because we couldn't find a replacement," he said.

"Joao was very impressed with FC Bayern, how nice everyone was, how well organised it was. He would have liked to experience this adventure and was already disappointed afterwards.

"Joao didn't let himself down, he did a great job and immediately went full throttle again. The fans were completely behind him, he put his heart and soul into it.

"If Bayern still want him, I can imagine that it is still in the back of Joao's mind."

Sources: Liverpool set sights on Fulham star Antonee Robinson - his stats are incredible
Liverpool 's data analysis team wowed by Fulham defender Robinson – he is miles ahead of second-placed Premier League rival for key metric

Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Fulham star Antonee Robinson ahead of a potential summer move, sources have told Football Insider.

The Cottagers star, 26, is a regular for Marco Silva's side and has impressed Anfield talent-spotters with his performances this term.

Analysis from Liverpool's data team shows Robinson is even more effective for Fulham than the defender's basic stats suggest.

As per FBRef, the United States international leads the Premier League for interceptions this term (58) – making 18 more than Everton's James Tarkowski in second place.

He is also among the best full-backs in England's top flight for progressive carries, successful take-ons and progressive passes.

Robinson has made 29 appearances across all competitions for Fulham this term, notching five assists.

He has started in all but one of the Cottagers' Premier League fixtures in the 2023-24 campaign.

The United States international, who joined Fulham from Wigan in 2020, is under contract until June 2028 after penning a new deal last year (2023).

Andy Robertson is returning to full fitness for Liverpool after spending almost four months on the sidelines with a serious shoulder injury.

Kostas Tsimikas and Joe Gomez filled in for the Scotland international during his absence but the Merseysiders could now move for a new option this summer.

Jurgen Klopp's side sit top of the Premier League and will play Europa League knockout stage football from next month.

Rodrigo Muniz on facing AFC Bournemouth at Craven Cottage
FULHAM forward Rodrigo Muniz insists Saturday's game against Cherries will be "different" to the recent clash between the two clubs, labelling Andoni Iraola's side "a really good team".

On Boxing Day, goals from Justin Kluivert, Dominic Solanke and Luis Sinisterra saw Cherries ease to a 3-0 victory over Marco Silva's men at Vitality Stadium.

But Muniz, who played the full 90 minutes of that contest, believes playing at Craven Cottage will be a different story.

The Brazilian told Fulham's club website: "We are working very hard this week to get the three points on Saturday.

"Always when we play there (Bournemouth) it is difficult. But at home, it is different, because our fans help us a lot.

"Bournemouth have played well this season. They are a really good team.

"They have good players. But let's see. We need to win."

Fulham sit 13th in the Premier League table, one place and one point below Cherries, having won just one of their last seven league matches.

Like Cherries, they have drawn their last two, 22-year-old Muniz scoring the first English top-flight goal of his career in the 2-2 draw at Burnley last time out.

The game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday.

Premier League star with most interceptions this season being monitored by Liverpool
Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Fulham's Antonee Robinson ahead of a potential summer move as the USA international continues to impress this season.

The 26-year-old has been a top performer for Marco Silva's team throughout the current campaign and according to Football Insider, the Reds have had their attention captured by the left-back.

Liverpool's data on Robinson has been very positive and the full-back is high on a lot of metrics amongst Premier League players.

As per FBRef, Robinson leads the Premier League for interceptions this term (58) – making 18 more than Everton's James Tarkowski in second place. The Fulham star is also among the best full-backs in England's top flight for progressive carries, successful take-ons and progressive passes.

Robinson has been at Fulham since 2020 and has been a big success at Craven Cottage. The left-back has a contract at the West London club until 2028, therefore, the Premier League could demand a high fee.

Liverpool currently have Andy Robertson as their starting left-back with Kostas Tsimikas and Joe Gomez as cover.

The Greek star could leave the Reds this summer and that would open up a space in the squad for Robinson, but there are still a lot of things that need to play out before that happens.

Tottenham, West Ham United vying for Tosin Adarabioyo

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are both interested in acquiring the services of 26-year-old Tosin Adarabioyo.
According to a report by Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are both keen on having Tosin Adarabioyo in their ranks. The 26-year-old centre-back is all set to part ways with Fulham after the end of the ongoing season and there is a lot of interest in his services.

Adarabioyo was a part of the Manchester City youth ranks since his childhood days. While he did come up the ranks at some pace, the former England youth international failed to break into their first team. He left and joined Fulham towards the end of 2020.

Since making the move to the Cottagers, he has gone from strength to strength and has established himself in the heart of the defence. The 26-year-old has made a name for himself in the Premier League as a dependable centre-back.

His performances have attracted a lot of attention and with his contract running out at the end of the season, clubs are expected to battle it out for his signatures. The English centre-back has no intentions of penning down a new deal after having already turned down an offer last season.

The Cottagers had the opportunity to cash in on him by sanctioning his sale to Monaco last season. But, they decided against it and now the 26-year-old is all set to leave for free. Tottenham and West Ham are both in need of defensive reinforcement and they are closely monitoring Adarabioyo's situation and could soon make a move.

Spurs lack depth in their defence and their boss Ange Postecoglou wants it resolved in the summer. He is looking for someone who can feature in his starting XI and given the kind of experience the former City defender has, he should be an ideal fit.

As far as the Hammers are concerned, they only have four centre-backs in their squad. Angelo Ogbonna is one of them and he is already 35, as a result, they are in desperate need of reinforcement in the heart of the defence. Adarabioyo has proven himself in the English top flight and he could be a great signing for them. With the 26-year-old available for free, it will be interesting to see who wins the race for his signatures.
