We lost some steel in midfield with Palhinha suspended , hopefully Lukic can step up . Good to see Bassey , Wilson and Iwobi starting . Might be our strongest bench for a good while , would be great to see Traore given enough time to have a real crack later on

Willian was holding the back of his leg when he went off in the last game, so it looks like a hamstring problem.

Marco Silva said he was going to be assessed before the game so he's obviously still not right.

I'm sure that, as a good captain, he wants what is best for the team. He knows his limitations as well as his strengths. We are likely to be attacked hard from the start. Tom's many strengths do not include being a strong defender. Lukic has not yet  proved himself to be any better, though he deserves the chance (probably his last). I expect to see TC on the pitch later in the game when he is better at creating chances. I just hope we are still in the game long enough.

The lack of creativity in our midfield is cause for concern. Huge game for Lukic. Lets hope he steps up and reboots his Fulham career. Another lacklustre performance from him and I can't see much future for him here.

I think Lukic can maybe provide a solid midfield defensive role, doing a job - Cairney may well play a role later in the game.

It has nothing to do with the quality of the opponent in my opinion anyway. Cairney has proved he can perform against the best teams in the league.

I think it's more to do with the players available. Palhinha allows Cairney to play his game whereas Reed and Lukic don't compliment Cairney as well as Palhinha does

Disagree. I think against a lesser opponent Silva might be willing to throw Cairney out there with Reed.
