Never forget your Roots.

Quote from: filham on February 28, 2024, 12:09:39 PMhris Martin had gone clean out of my Fulham memory banks, the above poste brought the whole episode flooding back. I am now trying to clear my memory of the matter again as there are a lot better things to remember.

Yes you are right there are better things to remember.

Like that Fulham supporter you met in a bar in Hamburg.
Over a double Brandy, you asked her name and she replied  "Carman".
You then said " that's an unusual name, why were you called Carman".
She answered " because i like cars and i like men ".
She then asked you " what is your name", and you replied " Lager Fanny ".

If my memory serves me correctly your Double Brandy then turned into a Double Hernia.
Do you recall this  ?

I only wished I had half the encounters that Woolly is able to relate, obviously from his own experiences.

I am surprised he has left Coldplay
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

SP

The only positive recollection I have of him was scoring an equaliser at Loftus Rd in front of the travelling FFC fans to salvage us a point. The rest is a blank.

Quote from: Zendra on February 27, 2024, 10:09:02 PMMissing goals against Fulham as important as scoring them in my view.

This is a good point. Which other former Fulham players can be thanked for missing big chances against us?

Andy Johnston missed with only the keeper to beat in the last minute when playing for Palace. Didn't affect the outcome - we lost 1-2 but as I had bet on that scoreline it was important to me!
