The pre match watering of the Craven Cottage pitch has become a regular feature, even though at times it seems to make the playing surface slippery and dangerous,
.
Surely with the heavy and near continuous rainfall over the last 48 hours those sprays will be turned off today.

It's so the ball skims across the surface which suits our style of football. Today's pitches absorb the water very quickly so unless it's raining at kick off you will need more.Obviously the less skilful players will struggle

It might be the wrong type of water though.
