West Ham United now join Liverpool in race to sign 'special' Fulham player this summer
West Ham United are now joining the race to sign Fulham central defender Tosin Adarabioyo at the end of the season.

It's difficult for Fulham fans to enjoy Tosin Adarabioyo's performances at the moment.

The giant centre back has been solid of late but he is out of contract at the end of the season.

There has been no indication of Adarabioyo signing a new deal and it looks like he will be leaving Craven Cottage on a free transfer.

There is plenty of speculation surrounding Adarabioyo's future and it looks like a London rival is now showing a real interest...

West Ham United want Tosin Adarabioyo
Give Me Sport now claim that West Ham United have rekindled their interest in signing Adarabioyo.

It's suggested that the Hammers prioritising a move for a new centre back this summer in an effort to bolster their back line.

Adarabioyo is seen as a bargain option for the Hammers thanks to his contract situation.

Technical director Tim Steidten is showing a real interest and could move for Adarabioyo despite doubts over the future of boss David Moyes.

90min reported back in December that West Ham wanted Adarabioyo for the January transfer window, so this latest update isn't a huge surprise.

Hailed as a 'special' player by Fulham boss Marco Silva, Adarabioyo will have plenty to think about and we would hope that staying at Fulham is still an option for the defender.

Reports from Italy suggest that AC Milan are considering a move for Adarabioyo but haven't yet advanced a move.

We have also seen Liverpool linked as The London Evening Standard suggested that the Reds are considering a bargain move.

Moving to Milan or Liverpool would be somewhat understandable, but seeing Adarabioyo leave Fulham for West Ham would be hard to swallow.

Yes, West Ham are eight points ahead of Fulham but this wouldn't be a real top-end move for Adarabioyo and it's unclear whether the defender would really fancy a move to the London Stadium.

Fulham starter 'doesn't make huge impression' – Desire for competition to give him a nudge
Fulham's Timothy Castagne will certainly be part of the Belgium squad for the European championship, according to Gazet van Antwerpen.

The right-back has been a regular for the national team ever since Domenico Tedesco took charge of De Rode Duivels more than a year ago.

Castagne joined Fulham from Leicester City last summer and is also a regular in Marco Silva's starting lineup.

The 28-year-old has made 30 appearances for the Premier League side and that's helped him maintain a place with Belgium. The newspaper has labelled his move to Fulham as a 'good transfer'.

Even though the defender has been featuring regularly for his country [and club] and also does well on the right side of the back four, the report says Castagne 'doesn't make a huge impression'.

Therefore, Gazet van Antwerpen are of the belief that competition for the Fulham man 'wouldn't hurt' the national team.

When discussing options, Thomas Meunier, who left Borussia Dortmund from Trabzonspor in the winter market, and Royale Union Saint-Gilloise's Alessio Castro-Montes are named.

Whether that desire for competition sees Castagne rested for a game or two by Belgium remains to be seen.

Fulham man has 'expressed his desire' to return home – Transfer option may be on table
Fulham striker Raúl Jiménez has 'expressed his desire' to return to Mexico, with Club América looking into a potential deal for him.

That's according to ESPN Mexico and journalist Rubén Rodríguez, who can very much see the Fulham man making a return to his homeland.

A report last week indicated that América were looking into a potential deal for Jiménez as current striker Henry Martín is set to be a free agent in the summer, having failed to commit to a new deal at the club despite their efforts.

His departure would leave a huge hole in the side that would need to be filled and it was reported that they were looking at the possibility of bringing Jiménez back to the club where he started his career.

That subject was part of the discussion on show La Última Palabra this week where they discussed the possibility of Jiménez returning and if the Fulham man would be a viable target for the Mexican side at this point.

According to the assembled journalists, he is, as he's 'expressed his desire' to return to América already, something Rubén Rodríguez believes opens the door to a transfer.

"I don't know what Raúl Jiménez wants... he is going to return at some point," he said.

"I see Raúl playing in Mexico for 1 or 2 years (...) I'm not telling you that because Raúl returns, Henry leaves."

Newcastle United rocked by injury blow ahead of West Ham, Fulham and Spurs clashes
Anthony Gordon grimaced as he lay on the turf at Stamford Bridge on Monday night and could miss upcoming meetings with West Ham and Fulham.

Newcastle United have been rocked by an injury and 'psychological blow' after Monday night's Premier League meeting against Chelsea. The Magpies could be without star man Anthony Gordon for upcoming meetings with West Ham and Fulham.

Eddie Howe's side lost 3-2 at Stamford Bridge as the Blues closed the gap between themselves in 11th and the visitors in 10th to just one point in the Premier League table. Newcastle United's second defeat in three is a worry for the club but attention after the game turned to the fitness of key player Gordon.

The England international appeared to be struggling with a niggle early on in the match, having signalled to the Magpies bench that he needed a medic to assess his problems. Gordon grimaced as he was tended to by physiotherapists and was soon hooked from the game after just 30 minutes.

Speaking after the match, Howe said: "He is in a bit of pain and we fear it is not looking too good but it is very early days. That was a huge moment in the game to lose him then. He has been so good for us this season and so consistent. That is another psychological blow for the players.

"I think it (Gordon's knee pain) was quite early on in the game. But as I said, there was no moment where he felt an injury, just the pain was there. So we sent someone over because he didn't look like he was moving right. And then eventually he succumbed to the injury.

"He's in a bit of pain but it's not looking too good. It's early moments, we'll wait and see. It was a huge moment to lose him, given what he has done this season. It was a psychological blow."

In a season when Newcastle United have been plagued by injuries, Gordon has stepped up to the plate to star for the club. The former Everton man has nine goals and six assists in the top flight and has featured in every league outing apart from the trip to West Ham in October, when he was suspended.

The injury blow comes ahead of a potential England call-up for Gordon, who could now miss a number of matches if the injury worry is as serious as Howe appeared to fear. Newcastle United face London sides West Ham, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur before the middle of April.

The Hammers travel to St James' Park on March 30 before Fulham welcome Newcastle United to Craven Cottage on April 6. Spurs then play in Tyneside on April 13.

Nottingham Forest and Fulham have held 'in-depth contacts' to sign €20m midfielder – PL 'fascinates' player
That Fulham and Nottingham Forest are interested in Lewis Ferguson isn't news, but we now see a report suggesting first moves have been made.

It comes from Calciomercato, who have an article on the Scottish midfielder and his great season at Bologna, where the Craven Cottage and City Ground sides are mentioned.

It's said that Fulham and Nottingham Forest 'would like to bet' on the 24-year-old and the Premier League is a league that 'fascinates' Ferguson.

The two English clubs are said to have made 'in-depth contacts' ahead of a potential transfer, but they are not the only teams in the mix.

Ferguson also has 'many admirers' in Italy, with Juventus, AC Milan, Napoli and Atalanta all there, and a lot could depend on Thiago Motta, who wants to manage the midfielder next season regardless of where he is.

Therefore, if he were to switch to one of the clubs above, he would likely want to take the player with him.

That's a warning for Nottingham Forest and Fulham, who are told that €20m (that will be a minimum) are needed to convince Bologna of a sale this summer.

What also gives teams in Italy an advantage are the recent comments from his agent, Bill McMurdo, who told TV Play that Ferguson 'loves the Italian culture' and is 'having a great time' there, before adding that he believes his client 'will still be playing in Serie A in the next five years'.

It is now up to Fulham and Nottingham Forest to change that mindset.

West Ham looking to raid London rivals for 26-year-old bargain signing
West Ham United are keen on the Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.

According to Give Me Sport, they are looking to get a deal done for the 6-ft-5-in defender who will be a free agent in the summer.

The 26-year-old is in the final few months of his contract and he is set to move on as a free agent.

West ham have been vulnerable defensively and they need to improve in that department. Signing a quality defender should be a top priority for the Hammers and it remains to be seen whether they can get a deal done for Adarabioyo.

The 26-year-old is well-settled in the Premier League and he could make an immediate impact at West Ham. The opportunity to join the Hammers could be an exciting one for the defender as well.

West Ham have shown improvement in recent seasons and they managed to win the UEFA Europa Conference league last year. They are currently competing in the UEFA Europa League as well.

The Hammers have a quality squad at their disposal and they will be hoping to push for European qualification regularly. Signing a quality defender like Adarabioyo could help them cut out their defensive problems and compete at a high level.

Signing the experience Premier League defender on a bargain would represent an excellent investment as well.

Fulham fancy Ferguson
Reports from Italy claim that Fulham have furthered their interest in Bologna's star Scottish midfielder Lewis Ferguson.

Italian website Calciomercato carries an article today claiming that the Whites and Nottingham Forest have kept in close contract with Bologna and Ferguson's representatives since making enquiries about the 24 year-old's availability during the January transfer window.

The former Aberdeen midfielder, who has been promoted to wear the captain's armband at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara during a stellar season, has also attracted interest from AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli but the Calciomercato report insists Ferguson is 'fascinated' by the possibility of playing in the Premier League. Calciomercato suggest that Bologna, who paid just £3m for Ferguson's services two years ago, would want in excess of £17m to sell the midfielder, who has scored six times in 27 games as Thiago Motta's side have surged into the Champions' League places.

Bologna Certain On Value Of Fulham And Nottingham Forest Linked Lewis Ferguson
Bologna are certain that they can get far more than €25m for Fulham and Nottingham Forest linked Lewis Ferguson, with Premier League clubs in contact with Italian intermediaries over a potential deal in the summer.

The Bologna captain is expected to move on from the club at the end of the season with several clubs interested in getting their hands on him.

The Scot has emerged as one of the top midfield operators in Italy since he left Aberdeen to join Bologna in 2022.

Juventus and Napoli are chasing him and he has also been linked with a move to the Premier League where Fulham and Nottingham Forest are interested in Ferguson.

There are suggestions that he could be available for €25m, but according to Italian outlet ArenaNapoli, Bologna believe that they could get far more money.

The Serie A club are expecting more clubs to get into the fray for Ferguson from Europe and the Premier League.

It has been claimed that few Premier League clubs have been in touch with Italian intermediaries over a potential deal for the midfielder.

Bologna are prepared to cash in on Ferguson and are certain that they can bring in far more than the €25m figure for him in the summer.

Premier League set to scrap PSR
The Premier League are poised to scrap their profit and sustainability rules in favour of a model of financial regulation that more closely mirror UEFA's current squad-to-cost ratio approach contained within their financial sustainability regulations.

A Premier League statement following the latest shareholders' meeting said:

"At a Premier League Shareholders' meeting today clubs agreed to prioritise the swift development and implementation of a new League-wide financial system. This will provide certainty for clubs in relation to their future financial plans and will ensure the Premier League is able to retain its existing world-leading investment to all levels of the game."

UEFA's regulations will limit all clubs playing in their competitions to spending 70% of their revenue on wages, transfer fees and agent costs in the 2025/2026 season. The Premier League's proposals set a domestic limit of 85%, although these plans have to be voted through before being adopted – and transition arrangements will have to be agreed by all twenty clubs as the league will operate under PSR until such a vote is passed.

The Premier League clubs indicated a willingness to prioritise their own regulatory framework ahead of agreeing a financial package to support the English Football League, the 'New Deal for Football' – in a blow to the authority of chief executive Richard Masters.

The obvious conclusion to this proposed rule change is that it would benefit the top clubs who generate the highest revenue. Fulham would have breached the FSR limits in 25 of the last 26 seasons – and would need to reshape their own financial planning.

Exclusive: Fulham set to offer new deal to key player which could end move for Chelsea star
TEAMtalk can exclusively reveal Fulham are set to offer a new contract to star defender Tosin Adarabioyo, which will likely see them cool their interest in Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah.

Fulham are keen to settle their plans for the summer and hope to tie up a number of loose ends before the transfer window opens.

Several of their players are coming towards the end of their current deals and one man who they hope to find a resolution with is Adarabioyo.

The West London side have made a new bumper offer to the central defender and talks are advancing over a new contract to keep him at Craven Cottage.

The 26-year-old has been considering his options, but sources say the new offer on the table from Fulham is extremely good, and there is now growing confidence he will sign on and stay at the club..

There has been heavy interest in the services of Adarabioyo and a number of clubs in England and around Europe have sounded out the possibility of a pre-contract deal.

Marco Silva has been key in the push to keep Adarabioyo as he rates Adarabioyo very highly and has made it clear — both privately and publicly — he wants to keep hold of one of his key talents.

Sources state the Portuguese manager has spoken to the English defender and made him aware of his importance to the Cottagers.

Adarabioyo has established himself as an integral part of Fulham's team since joining from Manchester City in 2020 and has played 14 times in the league this season after returning from injury in November.

Chalobah is open to leaving Chelsea for Fulham
This development has a knock-on effect for another defender based in West London — Chelsea's 24-year-old centre back Chalobah.

Chalobah is on Fulham's list of potential replacements for Adarabioyo, but sources reveal that a new deal for the former Man City man puts that move on ice.

The Chelsea defender is open to the move and there is a good relationship between the club and his family due to the fact his brother Nathaniel, who also helps with his representation, is a former Fulham player.

Chalobah has featured just five times for the Blues this season, having returned from a long-term hamstring injury last month.

The mood is now positive that Adarabioyo will sign a new long-term deal at Fulham and commit to spending next season at the club at least.

Nothing is done until the ink is dry on the contract, but the board and Marco Silva hope to have it wrapped up as soon as possible.

'They have put teams away'... Tottenham star delivers verdict on Fulham ahead of Craven Cottage clash
Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson is already expecting a very tough game against Fulham this weekend.

Fulham are back at Craven Cottage this weekend after a disappointing trip to Molineux on Saturday afternoon.

A 2-1 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers leaves Marco Silva desperate for a response back at home against Tottenham Hotspur.

Recent wins over Manchester United and Brighton and Hove Albion left fans excited, believing that real momentum was building for the final stages of the season.

Saturday's defeat was a real dent and Fulham will be desperate to put it right against Tottenham this weekend...

Brennan Johnson on Fulham clash
Tottenham will be a tough clash.

Spurs beat Aston Villa 4-0 on Sunday afternoon, strengthening their push for a top-four finish.

Tottenham comfortably beat Fulham 2-0 in October with Son Heung-min and James Maddison on the scoresheet.

Ange Postecoglou will be looking for a repeat performance but Fulham did dump Spurs out of the Carabao Cup back in August.

Silva would no doubt love to dent Tottenham again and one Spurs player is expecting a very difficult match.

Forward Brennan Johnson has been in great form of late and found the net against Villa on Sunday.

The Welshman will be a big danger man for Saturday's game and he has told SPURSPLAY that Fulham can really hurt Spurs if at their best.

"We're really excited, especially when we play like this, but we know at the same time that we've got another tough away fixture next week at a place where they can perform and they have put teams away, so yeah, take every positive we can from this game and try and build for the next game," he added.

Tottenham are no doubt aware of the quality Fulham possess, especially having watched those wins over Manchester United and Brighton.

Spurs won't want to be Fulham's next victims and will be looking for ways to nullify the likes of Rodrigo Muniz and former Arsenal man Alex Iwobi.

This promises to be a fascinating encounter and it's nice to see Johnson paying respect to Fulham with his comments ahead of Saturday's meeting.

Tosin Adarabioyo: Fulham defender is outperforming England's centre-backs so is he an option for Euro 2024?
Fulham's Tosin is outperforming England's centre-backs across several important metrics as we approach Gareth Southgate's latest squad announcement, with Euro 2024 to come this year; watch Fulham vs Tottenham live on Sky Sports this Saturday from 5pm; kick-off 5.30pm

Is Fulham defender Tosin a realistic option for Gareth Southgate and England ahead of Euro 2024?

Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo is in the midst of some of his best form and arguably one of the main factors behind the team's recent improvement.

His performances in the surprise wins over Manchester United and Brighton were hugely influential, and he is continuing what should be seen as a strong turnaround in his status at Craven Cottage, having appeared to be leaving for Monaco last summer.

Tosin was an England youth international at U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels and once one of Manchester City's brightest prospects, talked up by Pep Guardiola. At Fulham, he has been integral to two promotion seasons and their survival in the Premier League so far under Marco Silva.

Yet the 26-year-old has never had a senior call-up for England and is not normally in the conversation for Gareth Southgate's squads.

As we approach the European Championships this summer, there is a debate to be had over who should be selected among the England centre-backs, given John Stones is arguably the only shoo-in.

The jury still is out on Harry Maguire due to his stuttering club form, although Southgate likes to stick with players whom he has relied on so much in the past. Even if Maguire goes, there are still as many as two places up for grabs, and Southgate has selected five other centre-backs over the past 12 months, suggesting who is under consideration.

Marc Guehi and Levi Colwill - stars for the U21s in recent years - appear to be the next in line, while Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings and Lewis Dunk have also been tried. Guehi will miss the upcoming international break with injury but is expected to be in contention for the Euros, while Colwill has established himself as first choice left centre-back for Chelsea this season.

Mings has been out with a long-term injury since the opening day of the season and will not be in the running, while Konsa has been playing at right-back for Aston Villa. So who else is there for Southgate to consider? What if England suffer a long-term injury or two? Should the likes of Tosin at least be in the conversation?

Perhaps he should, given he is currently outperforming all of the above across several important statistical metrics in the Premier League - even Man City's Stones in some aspects.

Tosin has won more defensive duels (67.37%), interceptions per 90 minutes (1.5) and clearances per 90 minutes (4.99) than all of them, and he also has more headed clearances per 90 minutes (3.33) than any other centre-back in the Premier League to have played more than four games.

There are a couple of obvious skews in the data; the further down the league your team is, the more likely you are to be doing more defending in games, and Fulham have been competing in the bottom half all season. That will be among the reasons why Everton's centre-back pair James Tarkowski (1.79) and Jarrad Branthwaite (1.64) score more highly than any of England's centre-backs on interceptions per 90, while Branthwaite also edges Tosin on duel success by just 0.14 per cent.

There is also the fact that Tosin spent the first half of the season out injured with a groin problem and has made 14 Premier League appearances since, which condenses and spikes his data, while the likes of Guehi, Colwill, Dunk, Konsa and the two Everton lads have played more than 20 games.

But if you are using data to help select players then these are the main ingredients for a centre-back. As well as the England internationals, Tosin is outperforming Tarkowski (4.54) and Branthwaite (4.16) on clearances per 90 too. And apart from Stones, Tosin has also conceded the fewest fouls out of the England pool too - just six.

Fulham manager Marco Silva has been singing his praises recently and mentioned the national team ahead of the weekend's defeat at Wolves: "In December, when it was really busy, he helped the team to reach a really good level. He is a really important player for us inside the football club.

"He is growing. He is a really good player and of course we always expect better things from him, and if he is going to be the case to go for the national team (then) even better, because it's always the ambition of a football player."

There is no doubt Tosin should be in the next group of players to be considered for a call-up if he continues in this vein and, at 26, he still has plenty of time to represent his country.

And what about the likes of Max Kilman, also performing well at Wolves? He tops the clearance charts with 128 followed by Tarkowski on 127. His Everton team-mate Branthwaite is clearly another up-and-coming talent but he is only 21 and currently playing regularly for England's U21s.

And what of the English players playing in Europe? Fikayo Tomori at AC Milan and Eric Dier at Bayern Munich? Tomori has just returned from injury that kept him out for a couple of months but he has impressed in Italy and played in the Champions League. Dier is a very similar a player to Maguire and you might say he is part of England's past rather than their future.

Fulham And Nottingham Forest Face Premier League Competition For Serie A Target
Other Premier League clubs beyond Fulham and Nottingham Forest also have their eyes on Bologna captain Lewis Ferguson ahead of the summer transfer window.

The former Aberdeen midfielder is almost certain to move on from Bologna when the transfer window rolls out at the end of the season.

Juventus and Napoli are two Serie A heavyweights who are interested in getting their hands on the Scotland midfielder this summer.

Fulham and Nottingham Forest are Premier League suitors, with the pair firm admirers of what Ferguson can offer.

However, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Ferguson is attracting more interest from the English top flight as well.

Fulham and Forest are not the only Premier League teams who are considering snapping up the Scotsman in the next window and are working behind the scenes on a potential deal.

Ferguson has been gradually becoming an attractive proposition for several other Premier League teams.

That means Fulham and Nottingham Forest could have a bigger battle on their hands for Ferguson.

Bologna are reportedly confident of securing much more than €25m from their captain's potential departure in the summer.

Fulham reportedly start talks to sign 'incredible' Serie A midfielder
Fulham have held 'in-depth' talks with a view to signing Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson at the end of the season.

Fulham may need to have a few midfield targets in mind for the summer.

After all, Joao Palhinha is bound to attract huge interest and Fulham seem open to selling the Portugal star.

Tony Khan told TalkSPORT in February that Fulham would consider sensible offers for Palhinha this summer.

Losing Palhinha would be a huge blow for Fulham and talks appear to have started for one new midfield addition...

Fulham moving for Lewis Ferguson
Calciomercato in Italy now claim that Fulham have held 'in-depth' talks to try and bring Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson to West London.

It's stated that Nottingham Forest have also made moves for Ferguson, but their precarious relegation situation means Fulham will have confidence of fending them off.

The report adds that four Serie A clubs – Juventus, AC Milan, Napoli and Atalanta – are also chasing Ferguson for the summer window.

Ferguson joined Bologna from Aberdeen in 2022 and has become one of Italian football's top midfielders.

Six goals and three assists this season have put Ferguson on the radar of many clubs, so Fulham will face a real battle.

Hailed as 'incredible' by journalist Alasdair Mackenzie, Ferguson seems primed for a big move in the near future.

Whether Ferguson would really be a replacement for Palhinha is another matter though, as he has actually played more of an attacking role for Bologna this season.

Ferguson could play deeper if needed but his energy is better used higher up the pitch, so maybe Fulham are eyeing him alongside another midfield option to revamp Marco Silva's engine room.

That would make more sense than viewing Ferguson as a direct replacement for Palhinha, with Fulham seemingly pressing ahead with a potential summer deal.

Fulham are set to pay Chelsea £4m under loan deal terms for Armando Broja that will be triggered unless the striker starts every remaining game this season

The loan terms for Armando Broja is set to trigger a £4m payment to Chelsea
Fulham must start Broja in every remaining game this season to avoid paying

Fulham are set to trigger a £4million payment to Chelsea for striker Armando Broja under the terms of his January loan deal.

The Cottagers struck a deadline day loan deal for Broja to move across west London having originally been quoted £50million to sign him permanently.

Having also refused to pay a straight £5million loan fee, Fulham and Chelsea eventually agreed a deal structure dependent on the number of games he plays.

Mail Sport understands the specific terms of the deal are that Fulham would pay nothing if Broja played 60 percent or more of the matches, of which there were 16 at the time he joined.

However, the Cottagers would be required to pay a fee of £4million to their local rivals if they failed to meet that mark.

Fulham are set to trigger a £4million payment to Chelsea for striker Armando Broja

Broja moved to Fulham on loan in a January deadline day deal from Chelsea

If Broja doesn't start every game between now and the end of the season, the payment will be triggered.

At the time Chelsea believed the transfer was a 'win-win' situation for them.

Chelsea had hoped Broja would make a significant impact at Fulham which would increase his value ahead of attempts to sell him permanently in the summer. If it didn't workout that way, they would at least be compensated.

Indeed, the deal has so far been unsuccessful on the pitch out as Broja is yet to start a single game since his arrival and has failed to score.

Fulham are sympathetic to Chelsea's emerging concerns over Broja's value but head coach Marco Silva has been hugely impressed with the form of Rodrigo Muniz since the Blues striker's arrival.

Broja was signed as a alternative to Fulham's first choice striker Raul Jimenez, who has missed six weeks through injury, but Muniz has stepped up scoring five goals in his previous six.

Broja missed the first game since his move through illness, and Muniz has been excellent ever since.

Indeed, Fulham sources have indicated that Muniz's value has increased by an estimated £20million due to his impressive scoring form.

Spurs fringe player suffers injury blow
Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to build on their convincing win over Aston Villa when they face Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

The Lilywhites have enjoyed a largely successful season so far, and took a huge step towards qualification for next season's Champions League by beating Aston Villa 4-0 on Sunday.

After a goalless first half at Villa Park, James Maddison poked the visitors in front before Brennan Johnson doubled their lead.

Villa captain John McGinn was then shown a straight red card for a reckless foul on Destiny Udogie, before Son Heung-Min and Timo Werner both scored in added time.

The result keeps Spurs in fifth place in the Premier League table but they do now sit just two points behind the Villans and also boast a game in hand.

Off the pitch, though, Postecoglou has been dealt an injury blow.

As per Football Insider, goalkeeper Fraser Forster is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after suffering an injury in training.

The report claims that the Englishman has suffered a fracture in his foot and will likely be out of action until the middle of April.

Forster, 25, joined the Lilywhites ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, after his contract at Southampton expired.

He became Tottenham's first choice 'keeper for a spell towards the end of last term, but hasn't featured in the Premier League at all so far this season.

The former England international's only appearance so far this season came during Spurs' defeat against Fulham in the Carabao Cup second round back in August.

Forster made his debut for England in 2013 and has six senior caps to his name, as well as more than 400 club appearances across spells with Southampton and Celtic.

Chelsea in line to receive £4m from Fulham due to Armando Broja loan terms
Chelsea are set to receive £4 million from Fulham as part of their loan agreement for Armando Broja, according to reports.

Broja joined Fulham in the January transfer window in order to secure more playing time for the remainder of the season.

However, the 22-year-old is yet to start a Premier League game for Fulham and has made just four appearances as a substitute.

According to MailOnline, Chelsea allowed Fulham to sign Broja for no fee on the condition that the striker played in 60 per cent or more of their remaining games.

The report adds that Broja will now need to start all 10 of Fulham's remaining fixtures in order for the club to avoid paying a £4m loan fee to Chelsea.

Broja is facing stiff competition for a place in Fulham's attack due to the form of Rodrigo Muniz, who has scored five goals in his last six appearances.

Fulham are also set to welcome back Raul Jimenez, who has been sidelined since the end of January with a hamstring injury.

Speaking last month about Broja's situation at Fulham, Marco Silva said: 'He has to wait for his chance.

'We really believe he is the right guy to be here. He arrived on deadline day before the Burnley game and he had 20 minutes on the pitch but Rodrigo scored and then the game after Rodrigo scored twice.

'Unfortunately for him, last week he was unwell and missed the match but now he is available and I will decide what the best solution will be to start the game.

'He's working hard at a different club with a different style and he needs time to adapt and understand things. It takes time but we can see his quality.'

Fulham to abandon Trevoh Chalobah chase and offer Tosin Adarabiyo new deal

Fulham to abandon Trevoh Chalobah pursuit as they are closing in on a new deal with their 26-year-old star Tosin Adarabiyo.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Fulham are all set to drop the idea of making a move for Trevoh Chalobah's services. The Cottagers have been linked with the Chelsea star as they look to reinforce their defence and find a potential replacement for Tosin Adarabiyo.

The 26-year-old centre-back's contract with Fulham runs out at the end of the season. With just months left on his deal, multiple clubs from across Europe are looking for a Bosman move. But, the Cottagers are pushing hard for a new deal.

New deal for Tosin Adarabiyo
Adarabiyo has been an important part of their first team since joining them from Manchester City in 2020. He has gone from strength to strength over the years and Marco Silva feels he is still very important to them. As a result, they are willing to give it their all to extend the 26-year-old's stay at the club.

The West London club have put forward a bummer offer for the defender. And, as per the report, the talks are now in the advanced stage and there is real optimism in the people about him continuing at the club.

While the former City star has been considering his options, the new offer on the table from the Cottagers is believed to be too good and he is expected to put pen to paper.

Trevoh Chalobah to Fulham stalled
If he does end up staying at the club, they will drop their pursuit of Chelsea graduate Trevoh Chalobah. The 24-year-old centre-back was identified by Fulham as a potential replacement for Adarabiyo. They were in talks with the player and he was interested in the switch.

Chalobah and his family have a good relationship with the club due to the fact that his brother Nathaniel is a former Fulham player. Even Chelsea are ready to sanction his departure. Despite that, it seems the deal will now take a back seat as Adarabiyo looks all set to extend his stay.

For now, the Cottagers are out of the race for the Chelsea defender's services but things could change depending on the 26-year-old contract situation.

Ha, I'll believe it when I see it......

Sidebar....I still don't know why Adarabioyo is so want to leave CC.  Playing regularly in a great league and a mid table squad.  Not sure any of the teams showing interest or he is interested in is such a jump from what he has at FFC.  He could end up not even being first choice depending on where he might land.  Would like to see MS/FFC convince him to stay put....

Was actually surprised if Milan wanted him then why not sign him in January or if he wanted to leave then why not him show them a willingness to sign.
So I think we have a chance of keeping him.
