Simic: Bournemouth and Fulham ask after shining Milan talent
Jan-Carlo Simic is proving himself one of the most exciting talents in the Milan youth system, attracting the attention of Bournemouth and Fulham.

The 18-year-old Serbian defender joined the Rossoneri from VfB Stuttgart back in the summer of 2022 for around €1m, slotting into the club's Under-19 Primavera squad. Since his arrival, he's scored three goals and provided three assists across 57 games in Italy and Europe.

Simic also broke into the Milan first team this season, making his debut and first start in a 3-0 Serie A win over Monza on December 17th, where he scored the second goal at San Siro. He's since made five more appearances under Stefano Pioli.

Simic attracts interest
TMW details how Bournemouth and Fulham have made contact in recent weeks to explore a move for Simic in the upcoming summer transfer window, keen to snap up the Milan talent. His current deal with the club expires in June 2025.

The Rossoneri do not want to lose the growing teenager, however, and have already opened talks with his entourage to start discussing a new deal. He is keen to move forward with the club and a meeting could be set up in the coming weeks.

Portsmouth could look to Fulham for replacement if Abu Kamara heads back to Norwich City: View

Portsmouth on the verge of Championship return, needing just four points or a win against Bolton.
Abu Kamara's impressive season with 9 goals and 11 assists for Portsmouth may come to an end soon.
Potential replacement for Kamara could be Fulham's Callum Osmand, whose talents could fit nicely at Fratton Park.

This season is looking like it will prove to be one to remember for those of a Portsmouth persuasion.

With just four games of their League One campaign still to be played, Pompey need just four more points to guarantee automatic promotion.

Indeed, they may not even need that. A win away at third-place Bolton Wanderers this coming weekend would also be enough to secure a return to the second-tier of English football.

As a result, things are looking good for John Mousinho's side, as they aim to end Portsmouth's 12-year exile from the Championship.

If they are indeed successful in doing that, then one player who will have played a big part in that achievement, is Abu Kamara.

An impressive campaign for Abu Kamara
Back in the summer transfer window, one player signed by Portsmouth, was Abu Kamara, who made the move from Norwich City.

Since arriving at Fratton Park, the 20-year-old has undoubtedly impressed for John Mousinho's side.

In 48 appearances in all competitions for Portsmouth, Kamara has scored nine goals and provided 11 assists.

That attacking threat has seen him make some vital contributions to what now looks like being a successful promotion campaign for Pompey.

However, there is a problem for the club, in that Kamara is only on loan from Norwich until the end of the season.

As a result, it may be hard for Portsmouth to keep the attacker at Fratton Park for next season.

There is of course, a good chance that Norwich will now want to benefit from his talents themselves, given they will have seen what he can do during his time with Pompey.

Should that be the case, then the impact Kamara has made for the club this season, means he will surely need to be replaced.

In that situation, one club Portsmouth could look to in order to fill that void, is Fulham.

Fulham starlet could suit Portsmouth
At senior level, this has been another solid season for the Cottagers in the Premier League, with almost no threat of relegation at all.

Meanwhile, their Under 18s are also enjoying an impressive campaign, currently sitting fourth in the Premier League South.

One player who has played an important in that for them, is Callum Osmand.

The 18-year-old attacker has already scored 18 goals in just 19 Under 18s appearances for the club this season.

He is also now, starting to make the step up to next level, with seven goals in 11 outings for the Cottagers' Under 21s in the current campaign as well.

With Osmand already making that level of progress, next season could be a good time for him to make the step-up into senior football.

Considering the potential he is clearly showing, it is unlikely Fulham would be willing to let him go permanently in the summer, before they have really benefitted from his talents in the first-team.

A loan spell that prepares him for such an opportunity at Craven Cottage, may therefore be more sensible, and Portsmouth should have their names in the ring as a potential destination.

With Kamara potentially set to return to Norwich, the pace and skillset that the Fulham prospect possesses, could fill that void nicely.

Indeed, with Osmand having also made a sizeable impact in front of goal, if he can take that clinical edge with him up to senior level, he could become a big asset in a spell at Fratton Park.

Of course, there is no guarantee that the Fulham man will succeed with the move to senior level, especially considering there is a good chance he will be playing in a higher division than Kamara has been for Pompey.

But given a replacement is likely to be needed, and the fact that Osmand's attributes match those of Kamara rather nicely, mean this may still be a chance worth taking for Portsmouth.

'I'm sure' – Birmingham City backed to make striker swoop this summer
Birmingham City interim boss Gary Rowett expects the club to try and sign Fulham loanee Jay Stansfield permanently this summer.

Birmingham City swooped to land the striker on a temporary basis last summer to bolster their attacking department.

Stansfield, 21, has since made 42 appearances in all competitions for the Championship side, chipping in with 12 goals.

Rowett has said, as per a report by London News Online: "Any player with that quality, with goals in their locker, in their first full season in the Championship, I'm sure most clubs – including this one – would probably ask that question.

"The clubs who own those players tend to look for the building blocks – the next steps. Who knows? I'm sure he's a player who the recruitment team will try to ask the club if there's an opportunity to sign him – I don't know those details though."

Birmingham City expected to make striker swoop
Birmingham's chances of landing Stansfield on a long-term basis in the next transfer window depend on what league they are in next term.

The Midlands outfit are currently fighting for their lives as they look to avoid dropping into League One.

They lost 2-1 away at promotion chasing Leicester City last time out and are in the bottom three with Sheffield Wednesday and already relegated Rotherham United as they look to claw themselves out with five fixtures left to play.

Even if the Blues do survive, Stansfield would probably be a wanted man if Fulham allowed him to leave.

He rose up through the ranks at Exeter City before the Cottagers snapped him up as a teenager in 2019.

The England youth international has played eight times for the Whites' first-team and has scored once.

Stansfield had a stint back at Exeter last term before linking up with Birmingham and fired nine goals for the Grecians in the third tier.

He has been an impressive addition for the Blues and as Rowett alluded to, it wouldn't be a surprise to see them try and make a play to sign him on a permanent deal.

However, there are many factors that will impact their likelihood of getting him so nothing is certain yet.

For now, Birmingham's focus is solely on survival and they are back in action on Wednesday with a home clash against Cardiff City as they look to return to winning ways. The Bluebirds don't really have anything to play for now and lost 3-1 to Hull City last weekend.

Bournemouth and Fulham make contact for same signing – PL duo 'in particular' keen on player
AC Milan's Jan-Carlo Simić has ended up in the sights of AFC Bournemouth and Fulham, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The 18-year-old joined the Serie A side from VfB Stuttgart in 2022 and was initially part of their youth team, before Stefano Pioli promoted him to the senior side last year.

Simić has scored a goal from six games for the Rossoneri this season, and has received interest from both Bournemouth and Fulham

The centre-back is being followed by the Premier League sides, 'in particular' from Marco Silva's side and the Cherries.

Report: Fulham enter race for target Spurs have been tracking 'for months'
Tottenham Hotspur are thought to have been leading the race for Samuel Iling-Junior for some time now, but London rivals Fulham have now joined the pursuit of the Juventus winger.

Spurs have been tracking the situation concerning Samuel Iling-Junior since late last year, when a switch in the January transfer window was mooted but never came to fruition.

It is thought the 20-year-old is set for the Juventus exit door at the end of the season, with the Italian side looking to raise funds (as per Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness).

A number of Premier League clubs have been linked with the former Chelsea youngster, with the likes of Brighton and West Ham also mentioned in relation to Iling-Junior already (Football Insider).

Can Fulham win the race for Samuel Iling-Junior?
Now, according to TuttoSport, Tottenham have yet another team to compete with if they are to sign Iling-Junior this summer, with London neighbours Fulham coming into the picture of late.

The report describes Iling-Junior as "a real treasure" for Juventus, as he is a player they can sell this summer, as long as a "good offer" comes in for the Englishman.

The latest update suggests London is looking like a very probable destination for Iling-Junior, with two clubs now very interested in signing him. While Spurs have been tracking him "for months," Fulham's intentions have become apparent "decidedly more recent," just a "few weeks ago," in fact.

No "concrete proposals" have been made yet, but Fulham are believed to be keen on revamping their wide options with Iling-Junior in mind.

Spurs Web Opinion
I really think a club like Fulham is more the level Samuel Iling-Junior is suited for. He's a solid prospect, but I just don't think he's got what it takes to be a regular starter for Spurs at all.

Liverpool Linked With Interest In Fulham Defender
With the end of the March international break, it turned into a good weekend for Liverpool fans as a 2-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion, finally gave us a more telling advantage over Arsenal and Manchester City in the race for the 2023/24 Premier League title.

Having spent a few weeks with only a single point separating all three sides, we now have a two point advantage back in our favour, and that could well prove to be massive given we only have nine games left play and nova88 will likely carry some interesting odds for the matches that lie ahead.

As fans will know, that is not the only story that is set to occupy the Anfield faithful as the season slowly draws to a close, as following the recent interview by the media's favourite to replace manager Jurgen Klopp when he departs at the end of the year, our new man will not be former midfielder, and fan favourite, Xabi Alonso, and it will only intensify the speculation surrounding the other potential candidates.

Along with all of that rumour mill speculation, links to potential players during the next summer transfer window are also free flowing, and one of the latest links is Fulham centre half Tosin Adarabioyo.

The 26 year old former Manchester City Academy graduate made the switch to Craven Cottage back in 2020 and he has since gone on to make just over 100 starting appearances for them, but he is out of contract this summer and with it looking increasingly unlikely that any new contract extension will be signed, he will soon be available as a free agent, and naturally we are now being linked with his services alongside Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan.

There is an offer on the table from the Cottagers, but it looks like he is very definitely exploring his options, and with the recent speculation surrounding the potential futures of both Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip, he becomes an obvious potential cheaper option for us, even if only to provide an element of cover whilst our new manager begins to eventually get his feet under the table at the club.

The main concern for fans will be the simple fact that he is no VVD replacement, and whilst he would be a reasonably experienced option as back up (and at his age is still to reach the peak of his career and development), there would not be many in the fan base who would see him as a natural starter for us given the aspirations that we have.

It might be one to keep an eye on though.

Fulham reportedly ready to chase 'sensational' Arsenal talent again
Fulham must have a number of midfield targets in mind for the summer transfer window amid questions over the future of Joao Palhinha.

Palhinha has been a one-man tackling machine ever since joining Fulham from Sporting for around £20million in 2022.

The Portuguese powerhouse has been the finest signing since Fulham's return to the Premier League and fans absolutely love him.

We saw strong rumours surrounding a move to Bayern Munich before the summer transfer deadline, but he stayed at Craven Cottage.

Palhinha continues to shine in the Premier League and he is primed for a key role with Portugal at Euro 2024.

We would expect to see plenty of speculation surrounding Palhinha's future this summer and we have already seen Tony Khan suggest that Fulham are open to a sale if the price is right.

Fulham need to have potential midfield signings in mind and amid links to Manchester City's Kalvin Phillips, a younger prospect may also be wanted.

Fulham eyeing Arsenal talent
If Palhinha leaves, maybe we see Fulham go for a proven defensive midfielder like Phillips as well as a talent for the future.

Football Transfers now claim that Fulham are interested in signing Arsenal prospect Charlie Patino.

It's suggested that Mikel Arteta believes in Patino's potential to become a Premier League star but that may not come at Arsenal.

Fulham could now pounce for Patino, who is currently on on loan at Swansea City in the Championship.

Football Transfers actually suggested in January that Fulham had made an approach to sign Patino, asking Arsenal to cancel his spell with Swansea.

Arsenal refused at the time but Fulham will allegedly make a new move at the end of the season in the hope of finally luring Patino to West London.

Who is Charlie Patino?
Patino hails from Watford and spent time in the ranks of both St Albans City and Luton Town before joining Arsenal in 2015.

Patino has been a regular for England from Under-15 all the way up to Under-21 level but does still qualify to play for Spain through his father.

The 20-year-old impressed on loan at Blackpool last season and has now chipped in with three goals and four assist for the Swans.

Patino has only started 13 Championship games though and this spell hasn't gone quite as well as his stint at Blackpool.

A technically-gifted midfield player, Patino isn't quite in the mould of Palhinha but could have a bright future ahead of him.

Rio Ferdinand has previously hailed Patino as a 'serious player', suggesting that he is technically ridiculous' on the ball.

Patino has also been dubbed 'sensational' by Blackpool teammate Jerry Yates and has clearly been highly rated throughout his career.

Settling down at Fulham could be just what Patino needs and after repeated links in 2024, he looks to be a player to keep close tabs on.

Report: West Ham Target Fulham Defender

West Ham's Defensive Conundrum: Tosin Adarabioyo in Sight
Hamstrung at the Back

It's no secret that West Ham's defensive woes have been a thorn in David Moyes's side throughout the season. Conceding 56 goals, the backline has exhibited the kind of generosity that's had Hammers' fans clenching their scarves in frustration. As The Guardian highlights, Moyes's concerns over his centre-back options are more than justified.

Transfer Window Anticipation
As we approach the summer transfer window, the rumour mill is abuzz with potential moves, and one name stands out: Tosin Adarabioyo. The Fulham centre-back, whose contract winds down, has been nothing short of a revelation this season. With links to giants like Liverpool and Milan, it's a testament to his burgeoning reputation.

West Ham's Potential Coup
The Hammers are now poised to enter the race for his signature. Nabbing Adarabioyo on a free could be the shrewdest of moves, particularly for a team in dire need of reinforcing their homegrown ranks. "Signing Adarabioyo on a free could be canny business," The Guardian astutely notes. And in a market often inflated, free transfers are gold dust.

Youth Versus Experience
West Ham's situation is delicately poised. With Aguerd's spot taken by Konstantinos Mavropanos and the seasoned Angelo Ogbonna's contract up for renewal, the need for fresh legs is apparent. Adarabioyo, at 26, straddles the line between youthful vigour and experienced campaigner—a blend that might just be what the East London club requires.

In summary, it's a pivotal moment for West Ham. The potential acquisition of Adarabioyo isn't just about shoring up a leaky defence; it's about sending a signal of intent. As they eye the upcoming season, could this move signal a shift from the back-foot to a firm standing ground? Fans will be eager to see how this unfolds.

Fulham and Crystal Palace plot raids to sign Danilho Doekhi – sources
Fulham and Crystal Palace are plotting moves for Union Berlin defender Danilho Doekhi ahead of the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

Doekhi, 25, is on the radar of multiple clubs in England and Europe after impressing at Union since his arrival from Vitesse Arnhem in 2022.

Palace boss Oliver Glasner is well aware of Doekhi after facing him in the Bundesliga and it is believed he is a big admirer of the centre-back.

Meanwhile, Fulham are in the market for a new central defender and have identified Doekhi as a potential replacement for Tosin Adarabioyo – who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (8 April) West Ham are the latest side to join the race to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo – who has rejected renewal offers at Craven Cottage.

Fulham and Crystal Palace set to race for Bundesliga star Doekhi
Doekhi has made 22 appearances across all competitions for Union Berlin this term – including three in the Champions League group stages.

The 6ft 3in Ajax youth product has made almost 200 senior appearances during his time in the Netherlands and Germany and could now be set for a Premier League move.

His contract at Stadion An der Alten Foersterei is set to run until June 2025 – opening the door to a potential cut-price deal this summer.

Fulham sit 13th in the Premier League this season, one place and nine points above Crystal Palace – who are six matches into the Glasner era at Selhurst Park.

Fulham in transfer tussle to sign Jan-Carlo Simic

Fulham recently "conducted surveys" for 18-year-old German-born Serbian youth international Jan-Carlo Simic amid his exploits for AC Milan.
According to a report by Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Jan-Carlo Simic is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers face stiff competition from fellow Premier League club for the 18-year-old defender. And the two English outfits have submitted enquiries for the AC Milan defensive sensation.

Who is Jan-Carlo Simic?
Jan-Carlo Simic is one of the best young defenders in Serie A. Born in Germany, the Nurtingen native spent most of his formative years in Germany before moving to Italy in August 2022. The teenage prospect joined Serie A giants AC Milan and has come leaps and bounds in the last four years.

The 18-year-old might have spent most of his formative years in Germany. But he has chosen Serbia as his national side, having turned out for the country's under-19 team since 2022. Meanwhile, Simic made his first-team debut for AC Milan in December 2023 and has turned out six times for the Rossoneri this season.

The youngster's progress at the Serie A club has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs, including Real Madrid. However, the latest report has linked the AC Milan defensive sensation with mid-table Premier League clubs Fulham and Bournemouth.

London Calling?
Fulham's interest in Jan-Carlo Simic is understandable. The Cottagers are in a spot of bother over Tosin Adarabioyo's long-term future, with the former Manchester City defender attracting interest from top clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United. While Fulham signed Calvin Bassey last summer, they can do with another centre-back.

Several candidates, including Evan Ndicka, have emerged on Fulham's radar. However, Simic is also a viable target, with the 18-year-old having the potential to be a long-term solution for the West London club. And the Cottagers have already "conducted surveys" for the teenage prospect, with Bournemouth also doing so.

It is unclear if the 18-year-old German-born Serbian youth international is ready to leave AC Milan without establishing a foothold in the first-team squad at the Serie A club. Fulham might not be an attractive destination either without offering European football.

Fulham reportedly prepared to rival Celtic in race for contract rebel compared to Jack Grealish
Fulham have a number of creative players at Marco Silva's disposal but may look to add another one when the summer transfer window opens.

Fulham's hopes of a late surge towards the European places appear to be over after just one point from the last three games.

Marco Silva won't want this season to just fizzle out but it looks like being another mid-table finish for Fulham.

That isn't a bad thing; Fulham only returned to the Premier League in 2022 and a period of re-establishment in the top flight is a positive.

Silva will want to take Fulham forward though and he may seek more creativity in the final third.

Fulham already have the likes of Tom Cairney, Bobby Decordova-Reid, Alex Iwobi, Andreas Pereira, Harry Wilson and Adama Traore who can play out wide or in attacking midfield areas.

Yet with Willian out of contract this summer, Fulham may be looking at other creative players in case the Brazilian needs to be replaced.

Fulham interested in Championship contract rebel
Football Transfers claim that Fulham are chasing a move for Coventry City attacking midfielder Callum O'Hare.

It's stated that Fulham have previously spoken to the Sky Blues about signing O'Hare but the deal just hasn't worked out.

The situation could change though as O'Hare is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far refused to sign a new deal.

O'Hare looks set to leave Coventry on a free transfer and Fulham may offer him a move to the Premier League.

The Sky Blues are challenging for a Championship play-off place again having lost to Luton Town in last season's final.

O'Hare could help Coventry return to the top flight but then move on with Fulham hardly the only club looking at him.

Celtic and Rangers are interested according to Tom Collomosse, whilst La Liga teams have also been monitoring his situation.

Fulham will therefore face a battle to land O'Hare's signature with many clubs no doubt attracted to his free agent status.

Who is Fulham target Callum O'Hare?
O'Hare hails from Solihull and came up in the Aston Villa youth ranks.

The accusing midfielder spent time on loan at Carlisle United and Coventry City before joining the latter permanently in 2020.

O'Hare left Villa with just nine first-team appearances to his name and has now racked up more than 135 games for Coventry.

O'Hare battle back from a torn ACL in 2022 and has chipped in with six goals and three assists in 26 league games this season.

The 25-year-old has been compared to Jack Grealish in the past and would surely love to show his quality in the Premier League with Fulham possibly offering that prospect.

Former Liverpool star Danny Murphy opens up on his addiction to cocaine for the first time, revealing 'I thought I couldn't do things without it' after he quit football, before media work helped him find purpose

Danny Murphy enjoyed an impressive career for several clubs from 1993 to 2013
However, the former midfielder opened up on suffering with a cocaine addiction

Danny Murphy has revealed he suffered with a cocaine addiction after retiring from football.

Murphy, 47, enjoyed an impressive career, playing for the likes of Liverpool, Charlton, Tottenham and Fulham in the Premier League, while he also won nine caps for England.

After retiring following a spell with Blackburn Rovers in the Championship in 2013, the former midfielder has since moved into punditry, regularly impressing on Match of the Day and he is also a Mail Sport columnist.

However, Murphy has heartbreakingly opened up on his struggles during the early stages of retirement.

'I initially dabbled in certain things to get the odd buzz and high,' he told the Ben Heath Podcast. 'I think it was an accumulation of things so I needed some escapism from reality. And reality was facing up to problems.

Danny Murphy has revealed he suffered with a cocaine addiction after retiring from the game

Murphy, 47, enjoyed an impressive Premier League career, playing for the likes of Liverpool

The former midfielder opened up on his post-career struggles on the Ben Heath podcast

'This financial problem, tax bill, relationship. How do I deal with problems when I don't play football? When you play football, the adrenaline and dopamine keep you forward thinking and energetic, irrelevant of the other issues. These issues become huge without football.

'I had a spell on cocaine and smoking some weed. The drink, I could live without it. I wasn't an alcoholic. I could sit in a house with alcohol and not drink it.

'For a while I was (addicted to cocaine), yeah. I got to the point where I thought I couldn't do things without it. Which was nonsense, of course I could.

'You manage it initially, you do it once a week, twice a week, do it an extra third day and eventually it builds up and grabs hold of you.'

After the brave confession, Murphy went onto explain how going to individual and group therapy, coupled with finding a purpose in punditry, helped him to overcome his problems.

He added: 'You get some help and start understanding behaviours and patterns. When I got help, I put myself around people who have been through it. I did a bit of therapy and group work.

'Therapy was good. You've got to be in, you've got to be prepared to go deep and not everyone is because you've got to be in for an emotional rollercoaster in therapy.

'Not everyone is, especially if you've had a traumatic life. And it's (the whole process) made me a better person.'

Murphy added how speaking to those who had experienced something similar helped him to 'lose that shame and guilt' associated with his problems.

Meanwhile, he also reflected on the well-publicised general struggles of players following retirement, but insisted there is always a way out.

'I probably had a year of being in a world of pain,' Murphy continued. 'The journey is never smooth but I definitely think that year to 18 months from 2017, going through that has made me a much better dad.

'I'm a better son, brother and I think I'll be a better partner. I'm more considerate to those who have been struggling in life and I've got a desire to be better.

Murphy made 249 appearances for Liverpool over seven years after joining from Crewe in 1997 before going onto play for the likes of Charlton, Tottenham, Fulham and Blackburn Rovers

The former midfielder also won nine England caps across his impressive time in the game

Murphy explained how therapy, coupled with punditry, helped him to overcome his problems

'When I started media I felt a sense of purpose because I wanted to be good at it but it wasn't the same highs. Two or three years later it just hit me, with all the stuff going on as well.

'It's really common for ex-players to have issues like this. I was amazed how many reached out to me. I've lost the fear of talking about it and people judging me now.

'I've seen it first hand, guys who have really been in a bad place come through and thrive again. That takes something.

'People have a lot of opinions on stuff this like this who haven't been there, but sometimes you do need a bit of help and it's alright to reach out if you do.'

West Ham United: David Moyes contract situation seems clear as Tosin Adarabioyo news emerges
David Moyes may not have made an official announcement on his West Ham future, but it now seems pretty obvious he intends to stay on.

That is if fresh transfer speculation in the past 48 hours is anything to go by, with United said to be looking to sign Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham.

According to TEAMtalk [8 April], Moyes has identified central defence as an area that needs strengthening and he is a fan of Adarabioyo.

Assuming Moyes is indeed having a say on which players are brought in, there is no doubt that he intends to pen a new contract.

David Moyes contract latest at West Ham
The Scotsman has been offered fresh terms by the Irons, but he has held off from deciding one way or another what to do with it.

What this report also makes clear is that the uncertainty over Moyes' future does not help West Ham ahead of the summer transfer window.

While Tim Steidten will ultimately have a big say in terms of who comes and goes, players will want to know who they will be playing under.

In the case of Adarabioyo, the former Manchester City player will have a pick of clubs to choose from given he is set to become a free agent.

In that instance, you would expect the 26-year-old to want to know as much as possible about each of the teams interested in signing him.

If Moyes is indeed planning to stay on, an official announcement has to be made soon so that the club can properly push on with transfer plans.

For while there is still plenty to play for this season, one eye will already be on 2024-25.

West Ham United Have Joined The Race To Land This Fulham Defender: Should Moyes Snap Him Up?
West Ham United have joined the race to land Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo as they look to bolster their defence this summer.

In a recent report, journalist Pete O'Rourke claimed that West Ham United have joined the race to land Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo. It has been stated that the Hammers will have to rival Monaco, AC Milan and other Serie A clubs in pursuit of the English centre-half this summer.

Adarabioyo's Impressive Form In English Football
Adarabioyo has enjoyed a decent campaign at the London club after he put in a series of solid performances for them on the defensive third of the pitch. The 26-year-old has scored two goals in 23 appearances for Fulham this season in various competitions.

The English talent has given a good account of himself when defending inside his half as he is averaging 1.1 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 3.6 clearances per 90 minutes in Premier League football. He has even been tidy when distributing possession from the back after completing 85.2% of his attempted passes in the English first division (stats via whoscored).

Adarabioyo is under contract at Fulham until the end of this campaign. Hence, the Hammers could potentially sign him on a free transfer in the summer transfer window.

Should West Ham United Boss David Moyes Snap Adarabioyo Up This Summer?
Adarabioyo is a tough-tackling defender who can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn't hesitate to put his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the offensive.

Standing at 1.96m, Adarabioyo can use his strong 1.96m frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. He is also proficient at playing his way out from the back. We can expect him to inject more quality into West Ham boss David Moyes' defence.

Adarabioyo has what it takes to earn a regular starting spot at the London Stadium in the coming years. At 26, he is about to enter the peak stage of his playing career which makes him a great option for the Hammers to pursue at the end of this season.

Adarabioyo has got enough experience in the Premier League by now and could make a smooth transition to life at the East London club. Thus, West Ham would be wise to snap him up when the transfer window commences later this year.

Fulham and Crystal Palace keen on Danilho Doekhi

Fulham and Crystal Palace are among the teams chasing Union Berlin defender Danilho Doekhi in the summer window.
According to Football Insider, Danilho Doekhi is a definitive target for Crystal Palace and Fulham ahead of the summer window. The 25-year-old Bundesliga defender could leave the German club in the summer when he enters his final year, with a move to the Premier League likely to appeal to his appetite.

Fulham and Crystal Palace eye Danhilho Doekhi
Danilho Doekhi has been a terrific presence in the Union Berlin backline and even helped them qualify for the Champions League this year. Unfortunately for the German side, they finished bottom of their group, thus suffering elimination from Europe altogether.

In any case, Danilho has been one of their excellent performers, but this may well be his last campaign at Union Berlin. The Netherlands-born star could move out of the club, considering that some Premier League clubs are chasing his signature, with Fulham and Crystal Palace considered suitors.

The Cottagers might be looking for a new defender, considering they might lose Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer when the season ends. They will need a proper replacement for the centre-back, and the low-cost acquisition of Danilho might do the trick.

Similarly, new Palace bops Oliver Glasner might have firsthand experience watching Danilho in action in the Nundesliga from his time at Eintracht Frankfurt. He, too, will enter the market for a new centre-back, both to strengthen his squad and potentially find a replacement for Marc Guehi.

Fulham Palace looking for a defender
Crystal Palace have been linked with QPR's Jake Clarke-Salter ahead of the summer window, but they might prefer a player with top-flight experience. Meanwhile, they are linked with Danilho, the 25-year-old Bundesliga defender, but they might look at other options should they lose out on the Union Berlin defender.

Fulham are also keen on a defender, but will preferrably choose a Premier League experienced star over other options. Hence, the idea of Danilho might appeal, but he might not be their preferred choice to begin with.
