Murphy reveals cocaine addiction
Former Fulham captain Danny Murphy has revealed that he suffered with a cocaine addiction after he hung up his boots.

The ex-England international, who made more than 700 appearances in a career that saw him win the Uefa Cup, FA Cup and League Cup with Liverpool in 2001, told the Ben Health podcast that his addiction hit home after he had decided to retire after a disappointing spell with Blackburn Rovers that followed his release from Craven Cottage.

"When you don't have football, problems become huge. When you play football, the adrenaline and dopamine, all these things keep you forward-thinking and energetic. I had a spell on cocaine and smoking some weed. The drink, I could live without it. I wasn't an alcoholic. I could sit in a house with alcohol and not drink it.

For a while I was [addicted] to cocaine. I got to the point where I thought I couldn't do things without it. Which was nonsense, of course I could. You manage it initially, you might do it once a week, twice a week, give yourself an extra third day. Eventually it builds up and grabs hold of you.

I've had some real depths of despair, There's a lot more help out there now, but you can never get a failsafe system."

Pajaziti Wins PL2 Player of the Month!

Adrion Pajaziti has been named PL2 Player of the Month for March.

It comes as little surprise after a prolific spell for the midfielder, who registered an incredible nine goal involvements in just three appearances last month.

He had a hand in five of our seven goals against Reading (hat-trick and two assists), scored one and made two against West Ham, and also bagged against Leeds.

Speaking to Fulham Season Ticket Holder Rhys Porter who is currently undertaking work experience with the Club's media department, Pajaziti said: "This award means a lot to me. It's a reward for the hard work I've put in and the good performances I've had in recent times.

"I'm very happy with my return and the fact we won three games out of three. The team played well last month, scored lots of goals and I'm just glad to be involved in lots of the goals we scored."

Congratulations on your award, Adrion!

West Ham United: Chris Sutton reacts to Jarrod Bowen 'blow' in Fulham prediction for BBC Sport
West Ham United extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to three games when they face Fulham on Sunday 14 April, according to Chris Sutton.

David Moyes' side picked up three points against Wolves last time out in the league and while Sutton believes that the absence of Jarrod Bowen will be a "big blow", the BBC Sport pundit believes the Irons will claim a point in a 2-2 draw.

Fulham are without a win in their last three outings and were "insipid" in their defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday (6 April) but Sutton expects them to provide an attacking threat at the London Stadium.

Writing in his BBC Sport Premier League predictions (11 April) he said: "Jarrod Bowen's injury is a big blow for West Ham and their leading scorer is likely to miss this game as well as their Europa League tie with Bayer Leverkusen.

"I expected more from Fulham last week but in the end, they were pretty insipid in their defeat by Newcastle. This has got 'draw' written all over it, hasn't it? Let's go for some goals in the game though."

Will West Ham United sack David Moyes or will he be given a new contract?
It has been such a strange season for West Ham under Moyes. Despite impressing both domestically and in Europe, there is a general feeling of unhappiness among supporters over the Scotsman's style of play.

The Hammers have never been more than a couple of games away from a feeling of discontent inside the London Stadium. While a draw against Fulham wouldn't be a bad result, it is unlikely to drag many fans back onto Moyes' side.

Most signs suggest that the Irons boss will extend his contract beyond the end of the season this summer, but there have been suggestions that he has taken note of supporters' feelings over him and his defensive first style.

Whether or not they will play a role in his decision come the summer remains to be seen, but it feels as though anything less than a point against Marco Silva's side will see doubts raised over his suitability in East London again.

Muniz Wins Premier League Player of the Month!

Rodrigo Muniz has been named Premier League Player of the Month for March.

He becomes just the third Fulham player in history to win the award, after Louis Saha in our first ever month in the Premier League (August 2001) and Mark Schwarzer (February 2010).

It's a deserved accolade after a fantastic purple patch for Muniz, with the striker registering five goal involvements in our four March fixtures.

After a goal and an assist against Brighton, he hit a brace in the 3-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur, before ending the month with an incredible overhead kick to salvage a late point at Bramall Lane.

Speaking to FFCtv, Muniz said: "Without my teammates, the staff, everybody who works here, this would have been impossible. I have to thank everybody."

Congratulations to Rodrigo on a fantastic achievement!

Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz reduced to TEARS after being surprised with the Premier League Player of the Month award by his team-mates

The Brazilian bagged a brace for the Cottagers in their 3-0 win over Tottenham
He is the first Fulham player to win the award since Mark Schwarzer in 2010

Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz was reduced to tears after receiving the Premier League Player of Month award from team-mates Willian and Andreas Pereira.

The 22-year-old was rewarded for netting four goals in as many games for the Cottagers in March.

Muniz is the first Fulham player to win the prize since goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer in 2010, while Louis Saha also won it as a Cottager back in August 2001

He was unable to contain his emotions when receiving his prize on Friday and admitted ' I don't know what to say', in a heartwarming moment with two of his Brazilian colleagues.

The striker has been a revelation in the second-half of the campaign, having struggled to nail down a place in Marco Silva's side and failing to score before February.  Since then, the 22-year-old has scored eight times, including strikes against Aston Villa and Tottenham.

Rodrigo Muniz was unable to hold back the tears when he received his prize after a superb month in front of goal

Muniz scored four goals in four Premier League appearances for Marco Silva's side in March

Mark Schwarzer was the last Fulham player to win the award after keeping five consecutive clean sheets in February 2010

His brace against Ange Postecoglou's team last month helped Fulham to a stunning 3-0 victory over their London rivals, who are closing in on a Champions League qualification spot.

Muniz prevailed in a stacked list of nominees that included Alexis Mac Allister, Cole Palmer, Son Heung-min, Alexander Isak, Ben White and Antoine Semenyo.

Muniz's form could see him make a late push for Brazil's Copa America squad the summer. He is yet to represent his country at any level but now finds himself in a close battle to be the highest-scoring Brazilian in the Premier League this season.

Spurs striker Richarlison currently leads the way with 10, ahead of Mathias Cunha of Wolves and Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz with 9.

Elsewhere, Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has been recognised for his side's unbeaten month with the Manger of the Month award.

The Cherries won two games on the bounce against Everton and Luton to see out the month, having begun with a victory away to Burnley before a 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.

Andoni Iraola is the first Bournemouth boss to win the award since Eddie Howe in 2018

Muniz scored four goals in four games in March, including the stoppage-time equaliser in Fulham's 3-3 draw against Sheffield United

Muniz's emergence in the last few months is all the more startling when considering his slow start to life in England following his signing from Flamengo in 2021.

He scored five goals in 25 Championship appearances during his debut campaign with the west London outfit before he was loaned back out to the second-tier with Middlesbrough, despite Fulham's promotion.

There, Muniz could only many two goals from 17 appearances, with him looking set to for further short-term spells away from the club, if not a permanent departure.

Instead, he has filled the whole left by Aleksandar Mitrovic and usurped Raul Jimenez in the starting line-up, with Fulham sat 13th and well clear of the relegation picture.

Chelsea striker Armando Broja makes Fulham decision amid West Ham United links
West Ham target and Chelsea striker Armando Broja will aim high this summer and has decided not to join Fulham, according to the Standard.

The London-based news outlet reported on 12 April that he does not want a permanent move to Craven Cottage, having played just 52 minutes since leaving the Blues on loan.

The Albanian striker's transfer valuation has slashed as he struggled for Chelsea before his move to Fulham as well.

West Ham must avoid Broja transfer
The fact he's barely featured for a side in the bottom half of the table indicates a lack of impact and adaptation to a new team.

This raises doubts about his ability to perform consistently at a high level in the Premier League.

West Ham's need for a reliable and impactful striker is critical, given the team's ambitions in the Premier League and other competitions.

Investing in a player who has not demonstrated consistent form and fitness could be a risky move that might not pay off in the short or long term.

It's crucial to sign a quality striker to replace Michail Antonio for the Hammers to make that step to the next level.

His age and injury record has certainly not helped him and David Moyes surely will not be pleased with his lack of availability.

Preview: West Ham United vs. Fulham - prediction, team news, lineups
West Ham United play host to Fulham on Sunday afternoon under pressure to deliver a much-needed three points as they bid to remain in the top seven of the Premier League standings.

While the Cottagers make the short trip to the London Stadium in 13th position, they sit just nine points adrift of their hosts.

Match preview
Had West Ham left Bayer Leverkusen with a goalless draw on Thursday night, David Moyes would have been receiving credit for nullifying one of the season's most impressive teams.

Instead, an end result of a 2-0 defeat without laying a glove on the Bundesliga outfit has led to criticism of the Scot's tactics in Germany, West Ham now with just two wins from eight matches in all competitions.

Overturning such a deficit against a team that have not lost a single match all season is highly unlikely, and it could lead to Moyes paying more attention to the Premier League.

Last weekend, West Ham ended a run of four matches without success in the top flight as they posted a 2-1 victory away at Wolverhampton Wanderers, overturning a half-time deficit to prevail at Molineux.

With Manchester United again dropping points, the Hammers are within one point of sixth, yet the greater concern will lie with the chasing pack who have played fewer matches than West Ham.

In December's reverse fixture at Craven Cottage, West Ham lost 5-0 having delivered one of their worst performances of the season, yet it will be Marco Silva who may be worried about conceding so many goals in this game.

Fulham have shipped three goals in each of their last two away fixtures at Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest, extending their dismal away record.

Just two wins and and 11 points have been registered from 16 matches, while Fulham are also on a three-match run without a victory courtesy of last weekend's 1-0 loss at home to Newcastle United.

With the possibility of reducing the gap to West Ham to six points with five matches left, Fulham are not out of European contention just yet, but they will need to show the level of display that they produced in seeing off Manchester United at Old Trafford in February to keep on track.

That said, Fulham have suffered defeat on their last five visits to West Ham, a run stretching back to 2010.

West Ham United Premier League form:

West Ham United form (all competitions):

Fulham Premier League form:

Team News
With Edson Alvarez available again after serving a European suspension, Moyes could revert back to a defensive four.

Michail Antonio is expected to remain down the centre of the attack in place of Jarrod Bowen, who Moyes does not expect to return for this contest due to a rib injury.

Goalkeeper Alphonse Areola and midfielder Kalvin Phillips should also miss out through injury, while Ben Johnson, Nayef Aguerd and Max Cornet are all options if Moyes wishes to introduce fresh legs.

Silva has a fully-fit Fulham squad at his disposal and that could lead to alterations after the defeat to Newcastle.

Adama Traore may finally be handed his first Premier League start of the campaign, while Sasa Lukic and Harry Wilson are also in contention.

Providing that Rodrigo Muniz is passed fit after a recent issue, Raul Jimenez will have to make do with a spot among the replacements.

West Ham United possible starting lineup:
Fabianski; Coufal, Mavropanos, Zouma, Emerson; Alvarez, Soucek; Kudus, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta; Antonio

Fulham possible starting lineup:
Leno; Castagne, Adarabioyo, Bassey, Robinson; Palhinha, Cairney; Iwobi, Pereira, Willian; Muniz

We say: West Ham United 2-2 Fulham
Given the inconsistency of both sides, this is a difficult match to predict. Moyes must also find a balance with the second leg with Leverkusen to come, and it could lead to a slightly chaotic - but entertaining - share of the spoils being played out.

West Ham United v Fulham | All You Need To Know
West Ham United v Fulham
Premier League, London Stadium, Sunday 14 April 2024, 2pm BST

West Ham United make a swift return to domestic action when they welcome Marco Silva's Fulham to London Stadium.

Following Thursday's UEFA Europa League defeat at Bayer Leverkusen, the Hammers will be looking for a quick turnaround in fortunes at London Stadium on Sunday 14 April, with kick-off set for 2pm.

Still seventh in the standings and well in the hunt for European qualification, David Moyes' men will be aiming for back-back Premier League victories after a comeback win against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out, and will be out for revenge, having lost the reverse fixture 5-0 at Craven Cottage in December.

Silva's men have all but secured their Premier League status for 2024/25 already, with a 14-point cushion to the bottom three after 32 games. They are currently on a three-match winless run, however.

Attacker Jarrod Bowen will be assessed after being withdrawn in the early stages of the second half against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, as will goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who has missed the last two games with a groin problem.

Kalvin Phillips did not travel with the squad for the UEFA Europa League clash against Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday due to a hamstring injury suffered in training.

Marco Silva is likely to have a near-full squad available for Sunday's game.

Opposition...

Over the years, several clubs have struggled to nail down a place in the Premier League after winning promotion. But Fulham have seemingly ditched their yo-yo status between the top two divisions in English football.

A tenth-placed finish in the top-flight last term, the highest of the three promoted teams from the Championship, was an excellent return for the Cottagers. Under Portuguese boss Marco Silva, the west London side have found consistency.

And with their Premier League status all but secured for 2024/25, they can start preparing for a third consecutive season of top-flight football.

Fulham were among the favourites to be relegated last season, but by making smart signings and building a strong team ethos, they exceeded many people's expectations and have established themselves as a competitive force within English football.

The form of striker Aleksandar Mitrović was undoubtedly crucial to the efforts of a top-ten finish, with the Serbian scoring 15 goals in all competitions. With Mitrović departing for Saudi side Al Hilal in the summer though, additions were needed in the summer window.

However, Silva has added real experience to his side in the form of attacking duo Raúl Jiménez and Adama Traoré from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Calvin Bassey from Ajax, right-back Timothy Castagne from Leicester City and versatile midfielder Alex Iwobi from Everton.

But it's 22-year-old striker Rodrigo Muniz who has stepped up to be the main man for the Cottagers. Before Jiménez's injury in December, Muniz was mainly used as a substitute and had not scored a Premier League goal, but he has since established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, with only Jonathan David of Lille (nine) and Harry Kane of Bayern Munich (eight) scoring more goals than him since February.

Several current and former players have featured for both West Ham and Fulham over the years - including Bobby Zamora, Scott Parker and Paul Konchesky - while former Hammer Issa Diop is still a present member of the Cottagers' set-up.

Previous Meetings...

West Ham United and Fulham meet in the Premier League for the 28th time on Sunday.

The Irons have had the best of things by far down the years, winning 16 of the 28 meetings, while the Whites have won just five, with six draws.

The most recent Premier League meeting at London Stadium ended 3-1 in the Hammers' favour back in October 2022, when Chicharito, Issa Diop and Michail Antonio netted in a comeback win.

Fulham have not won on any of their last ten Premier League visits to east London dating back to a 2-0 victory on 3 November 2001, over 20 years ago. However, the Cottagers did win an FA Cup fifth-round replay at the Boleyn Ground in February 2004.

Match Officials...

Referee: Stuart Attwell
Assistant Referees: Harry Lennard and James Mainwaring
Fourth Official: Michael Salisbury
VAR: Darren England
Assistant VAR: Wade Smith

West Ham will return to Premier League action three days after the Leverkusen clash, at home to Fulham, with Stuart Attwell having been confirmed as the referee for that game.

The 41-year-old became the youngest referee in Premier League history when, at 25, he took charge of Blackburn Rovers' match against Hull City in August 2008.

He returned to the National List of Referees in 2012, but was promoted back to the Select Group for the 2016/17 season and has since taken charge of just under 200 fixtures in the English top flight.

Originally from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, Attwell held the whistle during Liverpool's penalty-shootout win over Chelsea in the 2021/22 EFL Cup final, and also oversaw Arsenal's similarly dramatic Community Shield victory over Manchester City last summer.

This season he has refereed in UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League qualifying, as well as during West Ham's 1-0 defeat at home to Everton in the Premier League.

Fulham, Sheffield United and Southampton plot raids to sign Rangers star Kemar Roofe – sources
Fulham, Sheffield United Southampton and Queens Park Rangers are plotting moves for Rangers striker Kemar Roofe this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The 31-year-old is out of contract this summer and as yet there has been no new deal agreed to keep him at Ibrox.

News of Roofe's availability on a potential free transfer has alerted a number of clubs in England who are looking to bolster their attacking options for next season.

Roofe, who is back to full fitness after a stop-start season, is a proven goalscorer having helped Rangers win the Scottish Premiership title in his debut season and then also played a key role in the club reaching the Europa League final the following season.

Rangers ace Kemar Roofe wanted by quartet of English sides
The former Leeds and West Brom ace arrived at Rangers for a fee of around £4.5million from Belgian side Anderlecht in 2020.

Roofe has made 98 appearances in all competitions for Rangers, scoring 38 goals and providing seven assists.

Premier League duo Fulham and Sheffield United as well as Championship pair Southampton and QPR are monitoring Roofe's situation at Ibrox and see him as being one of the best free agents around this summer.

The Gers remain second in the league after their sensational 3-3 draw against Old Firm rivals Celtic on Sunday (7 April).

They are next in action against Ross County at midday Sunday (14 April).

Muniz named Premier League player of the month
Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz has picked up the Premier League's player of the month for March.

The in-form Brazilian striker scored a goal and made another as Marco Silva's side began the month by beating Brighton and Hove Albion at Craven Cottage before bagging a brace in the Whites' win over Tottenham Hotspur. His brilliant bicycle kick earned Fulham a point at Bramall Lane.

Muniz, who becomes third Fulham player to win the Premier League accolade following in the footsteps of Louis Saha and Mark Schwarzer, modestly insisted the credit really belonged to his team-mates, telling FFC TV:

"Without my teammates, the staff, everybody who works here, this would have been impossible. I have to thank everybody."

Before The Whistle: West Ham United v Fulham

Another weekend, another chance to plump up our flaccid away record in the Premier League.

The Whites travel to the London Stadium on Sunday to face a West Ham side that lost 2-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night to Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen. That'll hurt the Hammers, but they're having a good season; seventh in the league and in the quarterfinals of Europe's second-most prestigious tournament. David Moyes has long put to bed any questions about his credentials.

That's all to say that it will be a tough encounter in East London – and we're not in the best vein of form right now. Marco Silva rung the changes against Newcastle last weekend, bringing Castagne, Cairney and Willian back into the starting XI. It was an improvement on the nightmare in Nottingham, but that bar was pretty low.

There are increasing calls to give Adama a crack from the start, which is the only real change I can see occurring. There's no way we'll drop March's Premier League Player of the Month!

We seem to hit the beach when we get within touching distance of 40 points. It's time to shake the sand out of our ears and move forward. You Whites.

Pre-West Ham Press Conference

Marco Silva is paying little attention to West Ham's short turnaround time going into Sunday's meeting at London Stadium.

After a gritty and hard working display, two late goals condemned the Irons to defeat in their Europa League Quarter-Final away to Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night.

But the Fulham Head Coach expects to come up against a side who will have more than enough motivation to deal with any fatigue.

"[They're] a team that wants a response from the last game, like us," he said. "A team that is fighting to be in Europe again, and their position during the table, they want to probably to climb up or keep their place.

"That is what I'm thinking, I'm not going to prepare a game thinking if they are going to be tired or not.

"They want to fight to win the game, for sure. They're playing at home with a big, big support, and it's going to be in that direction that we're going to prepare the game.

"We go to play against a very good side that the last three seasons in a row arrived in the Quarter-Finals of European competition, one of them they won [the whole competition].

"Right now, they're in a position to be fighting to be in Europe again, in a very good position in the table.

"I don't need to talk about the individual quality they have, the experienced manager that they have as well. I don't need to go in this direction.

"Just see what they have been doing the last few seasons, even in European competitions. We really have to reach our best level to match them and to fight for the three points."

In the reverse fixture, Fulham claimed a 5-0 victory at the Cottage, our second result by that margin of the week, having done the same to Nottingham Forest four days earlier.

But Silva pointed to our recent trip to Nottingham as to why we can't glean anything from our previous meeting with the Hammers.

"The result is not going to have any impact on [Sunday]," he explained. "We all follow the Premier League, we are living this competition and it's really tough for any club to win a game – imagine winning 5-0.

"It was a moment that happened – okay, credit for ourselves, for our players, the way we did it. If it's difficult to win a football match, imagine winning 5-0 back-to-back. It's clearly much more difficult, and unusual as well, but we are not going to think about that result.

"I think the best example... we won against Forest as well with a clear result. And one week ago we went to Forest and our performance was not good enough, we didn't reach the level that we should, and we lost the game."

TEAM NEWS
West Ham boss David Moyes does not expect top scorer Jarrod Bowen to return from injury on Sunday.

Alphonse Areola and Kalvin Phillips missed the defeat against Bayer Leverkusen and are doubts.

Konstantinos Mavropanos will be assessed after being forced off in midweek.

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

West Ham are unbeaten in their last 12 Premier League home meetings with Fulham (W8, D4), a run that stretches back to their first such encounter in 2001, when they lost 2-0.
The Hammers have won each of their last five against the Cottagers at their own ground, scoring three goals in four of those games.
However, the Whites are looking to record a first league double over their hosts since 1965-66, having won December's reverse fixture 5-0.

West Ham United

West Ham's 6-0 defeat by Arsenal in February is their only loss in their last 11 home league matches (W4, D6).
However, they have dropped points in six of their eight league encounters that have directly followed a European game this season.
The Hammers have conceded a goal in each of their last 12 league fixtures, though they have also scored in each of the past seven.
Their tally of 19 points won from losing positions is the highest they have ever managed in a single Premier League campaign.
James Ward-Prowse has 100 direct goal involvements in the Premier League, scoring 55 goals and registering 45 assists.
Jarrod Bowen's 15 goals this season is one short of equalling Paolo Di Canio's record for the most by a West Ham player in a single Premier League campaign.

Fulham

Fulham are without a win in their last three league games, losing each of the last two.
Their 2-1 victory at Manchester United in February is their only Premier League away win in their previous 15 matches on the road (D5, L9).
The Cottagers have failed to score in 11 league outings this season, more than any other team in the competition apart from Burnley and Sheffield United, who have both done so 12 times.
They have scored 10 Premier League goals from corners so far this campaign, with only Arsenal, who have 13, netting more.
Rodrigo Muniz has scored eight goals in his last 10 league games, although only two have been scored away from home.
Harry Wilson's next league appearance will be his 100th for Fulham.

Silva has 'best possible headache' ahead of West Ham game
Fulham boss Marco Silva says he has "the best possible headache" – a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of Sunday's clash with West Ham.

Silva admitted on-loan Chelsea striker Armando Broja had an injury "moment" in training this week, but has fully recovered and is available for selection.

Silva explained: "Yesterday we had a moment with Armando Broja in the session and we were a little bit scared, but the player had a session with the team on the pitch this morning and is going to be OK.

"He will train tomorrow 100% and for the game will be involved with all the other players."

Silva suggested he has some tough selection decisions to make.

"It's a headache for the manager, 100% for sure. I have to leave four players plus a goalkeeper out of the squad," he said.

"It's probably the most difficult decision a manager has to make. It is a big headache, but the best possible headache I could have.

"It's good for the players because it means the competitiveness in training for players fighting for positions is there. Nobody is comfortable because a team-mate is pushing them for their position in the team.

"Having a fit, competitive squad is the best thing I can ask for as a coach."

Report: Newcastle are set to challenge Spurs for 26-year-old Premier League star
iNews have claimed that Newcastle United are the latest club to enter the race for Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo, who is rumoured to be on Tottenham's radar.

With Adarabioyo's current deal running out in the summer, the speculation over the centre-back's future continues to intensify as we get closer to the summer transfer window.

A couple of days ago, Football Insider revealed that the 26-year-old is expected to be available on a free transfer after rejecting the Cottager's latest contract offer.

The outlet also suggested that Tottenham are expected to face competition from both West Ham United and Liverpool for the versatile defender.

Newcastle enter race for Tosin Adarabioyo
Tottenham's pursuit of Adarabioyo might be about to get even more complicated if iNews's latest update is to be believed, with the outlet stating that the Magpies also have their eye on the player.

It is explained that since Eddie Howe's men are walking a tightrope with respect to the Profit and Sustainability Rules, the chance to sign the Fulham star on a free transfer is quite appealing to them.

However, the publication points out that meeting Adarabiyo's wage demands might not be easy for Newcastle to fulfil, given their current financial predicament.

Spurs Web Opinion
Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly will both have a whole host of destinations to choose from this summer, with both players now looking unlikely to sign new deals at their respective clubs.

However, neither will be too keen on making a move to Spurs as they would know that their game time will be quite limited in North London.

West Ham vs Fulham latest injury news with four doubts and one confirmed out
West Ham to face Fulham three days after Bayer Leverkusen defeat

West Ham will soon be back in action, just three days after suffering a late heart-break at the BayArena in the UEFA Europa League quarter-final first leg.

The Irons were holding their own exceptionally well against a side that has been unbeaten in all competitions this 2023/24 campaign but goals in the 83rd and 90+1st minute from Jonas Hofmann and Victor Boniface ended David Moyes's hopes of an away draw.

Now, however, attention must turn back to the Premier League as they face Marco Silva's Fulham. While the Craven Cottage side are benefitting from a fully fit squad, the same cannot be said for Moyes's Hammers. Here is the latest injury news from both London Stadium and Craven Cottage camps...

1. Konstantinos Mavropanos - West Ham
Doubt - Mavropanos came off after suffering a knock in the Irons 2-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen

2. Jarrod Bowen - West Ham
Doubt - the striker remains a doubt after suffering a back injury against Wolves, missing the first Europa League quarter-final leg.

3. Kalvin Phillips - West Ham
Doubt - A thigh injury puts the struggling Phillips as a doubt but Moyes as confirmed it is not a long-term issue.

4. Alphonse Areola - West Ham
OUT - After tweaking his groin, Areola is likely to be out until towards the end of the month.

5. Rodrigo Muniz - Fulham
Doubt - Muniz will need to pass a fitness test following recent, undisclosed, issue.

Marco Silva makes bold claim about West Ham vs Fulham after 5-0 mauling
Fulham boss Marco Silva is not expecting a repeat of his side's 5-0 win over West Ham when the two sides meet in the Premier League this weekend

Despite Fulham's stunning 5-0 win over West Ham in December, manager Marco Silva has stated that the result bears no impact on their forthcoming return encounter at London Stadium.

West Ham were struck down hard during the onslaught at Craven Cottage which followed an identical thrashing dealt by Fulham to Nottingham Forest just days prior.

Now, with only one win in five Premier League matches under his belt - a run which includes a disheartening 3-1 defeat to Forest - Silva is determinedly steering his team towards a course correction.

"The result against West Ham is not going to have any impact on Sunday," Silva said.

"We all follow the Premier League – we are living this competition – and it's really tough for any club to win a game – imagine winning 5-0.

"It was a moment that happened. OK, credit for ourselves, for our players, the way we did it. If it's difficult to win a football match, imagine winning 5-0 back-to-back.

"We won against Forest as well with a clear result. And one week ago we went to Forest and our performance was not good enough, we didn't reach the level that we should, and we lost the game."

Tottenham to 'firm up' interest in star with 34.8km/h top speed, Player 'open' to joining
Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on signing the Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old central defender will be a free agent in the summer and the North London club are hoping to secure his services. Journalist Alasdair Gold has revealed on his YouTube channel that Tottenham are likely to step up their pursuit of the central defender and the player is keen on the move.

He said: "Spurs are expected to firm up their interest in Tosin Adarabioyo, the Fulham defender. There's a growing interest in him as well. He's an accomplished player. He's good in the air. He's also got a turn of pace. I looked up. On the first weekend of the season, he was clocked as the quickest defender online with a speed of 34.80 kilometres an hour. From my understanding, he'd be open to coming to Spurs."

Adarabioyo has proven himself in the Premier League with the London club and he is certainly good enough for Tottenham. He could prove to be a quality acquisition, especially on a free.

Tottenham have three qualities central defenders – Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Radu Dragusin. Signing Adarabioyo could complete their defensive unit for the future. His arrival will add depth and quality to the backline.

Spurs could be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season and they need a deeper squad to do well across multiple competitions. They will need to sign quality players who can be squad options for them.

Tottenham need Tosin Adarabioyo
Tottenham have impressed this season under their new manager, but the lack of depth has cost them at times. They have struggled during injury problems and having a deeper squad will help them navigate injury concerns and fixture congestion in the coming seasons. Players like Adarabioyo could be worth their weight in gold.

The 26-year-old is not just a reliable defender, he is well settled in the Premier League. He could make an instant impact. Joining Tottenham would mean that he can continue to live in London, and that could be an added incentive for him. Joining a Champions League club will be an exciting proposition for him and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can get the deal done quickly.

Fulham star Rodrigo Muniz left in tears after winning Premier League award
Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz was named Premier League Player of the Month for March after scoring four goals in as many games - and he was left in tears after receiving the award

Fulham's Rodrigo Muniz was overcome with emotion and burst into tears upon receiving the Premier League Player of the Month award.

The Brazilian forward had an impressive run, scoring four goals in March, matching his tally from February. During what he thought was a standard pre-match interview at Craven Cottage, teammates Willian and Andreas Pereira surprised him by presenting the trophy.

The 22-year-old couldn't hold back his emotions as he expressed gratitude to his fellow countrymen. "Congratulations brother, you deserve it," said former Chelsea ace Willian, before jokingly predicting Muniz's reaction to Fulham 's production crew who captured the touching scene: "I told you he was going to cry".

Muniz made his move to Fulham in 2021 when the London side were battling it out in the Championship. His first season was a struggle, with just five goals in 28 appearances across all competitions, and he was subsequently loaned to Middlesbrough following Fulham's promotion back to the Premier League in 2022.

His performance didn't pick up much in Teesside, netting only twice in 18 games, and it seemed another loan spell was on the cards last summer. However, Aleksandar Mitrovic's unexpected exit altered Fulham's plans.

Marco Silva decided to retain Muniz, and despite it taking the ex-Flamengo player six months to score his first goal of the season, it seemed to trigger a scoring spree. Since finding the back of the net against Burnley in February, Muniz has scored eight times in 10 matches - proving to be a bargain for the £6million transfer fee Fulham shelled out for him a few years ago.
