Ok sentimentality plays a part in my reaction but of a free I am absolute delighted to have Sess back. He was not only a very decent young player for us, he was also a very honourable young man from a very nice family. Some will say, so what, but it matters to me and I am over the moon to have him back.

I thimk thats fair, sess is such a gently spoken nice guy hes very easy to like and so I totally get that it adds a feelgood factor. I have my questions around what level he can reach but the moment I read it today I was so happy for him and us.  Hell get alot of support from the fulham faithful when he plays his first minutes back at the cottage Im sure. Go sess, one of our own!

Getting sessegnon back, bringing in ESR, then if we signed Andre, the squad starts to shape up and look pretty good.

That being said, both ESR and Sessegnon have been major sick notes with their clubs the last couple of years, so both moves could backfire spectacularly..

If they don't backfire though, then we could be on to something.

Both of them, plus Andre are all early twenties too and with lots of room for improvement.

So one a BDR replacement.. the other?

It depends. I'd still like to have Willian back and with ESR, Adama and Iwobi all as options, whilst Sessegnon is young and one for future.. wondering when he'll get game time. Traore deserves more game time, when he came on he produced the goods..

Will be interesting to see how it pans out. Perhaps Sessegnon is happy to recover slowly in familiar surroundings and be a squad player for now.

It's a long old season, and we need options off the bench as well.  With BDR and Willian having gone, we are light in the AM and wide areas (the 3 behind the 1), not forgetting we lost 3 wingers last summer as well. I make our current options as only being Iwobi, Perreira and Traore, with no cover.

There've been conflicting reports about whether we beat Palace to his signature or their manager decided he didn't want to sign him (after having him in training the last few weeks). Rutzler is reporting it's the latter. That gives me some further concern (beyond the very troubling injury history).

He's the only striker out of the options here. Why not see it play out. We get what the OP is suggesting, we want to see our youth given a run out together. Can't do any harm. I'd also like to see LDF and Tanton given a go in the same game at the back.

Isn't that where the Brum fans thought he was most effective? I think he played fairly centrally for Exeter too.
