...seems a bit unlikely now:

Hughes on Konch: There was interest. It's something we may re-visit but it's unlikely to be concluded during this transfer window.

Could this be the same Mr, Hughes who said that Konch wasn't going to leave in the first place, only days before he did?

Yes, could be. Not entirely sure.

Liverpool are desperate to get rid, I read this as Hughes calling them.

I reckon it somewhat depends on Stephen Warnock.

Would that be Warnock to us or Warnock to Anfield?

Well, I thought it would be ...

and I ask again -- minus the tinfoil hat -- why should we make a move in the transfer market to make Liverpool's life easier?

Well Liverpool just bought Suarez from Ajax so they are looking to get some income from sales.

That is Konch coming back.

We need a left back - so we sell to one them for £4 mill, buy one back for £2 mill, what's not to like?

What's not to like is the fact that we would be bringing back a player that didn't want to play for Fulham 6 months ago

He was offered better wages at a club playing European football with a manager he respected. Why wouldn't he go?

Perhaps we should demand that all new signings get "FFC" tattooed on their chest?

Players don't have to be fans, you know.

Perhaps a more charitable view would be that in his eyes there was the perception of more career opportunity at Liverpool as an upward move built on the strength of his Europa League performance here. With 20:20 hindsight he now knows that wasn't the case. As does indeed Roy Hodgson.

I knew you wood so that is why I posted my response.  :54:  Are you watching any of the golf from Torrey Pines and seeing the wonderful weather we are having here in San Diego? I am in shorts and a Fulham short sleeve shirt with flip flops on getting ready to go run errands.
