He was offered better wages at a club playing European football with a manager he respected. Why wouldn't he go?

Perhaps we should demand that all new signings get "FFC" tattooed on their chest?

Perhaps a more charitable view would be that in his eyes there was the perception of more career opportunity at Liverpool as an upward move built on the strength of his Europa League performance here. With 20:20 hindsight he now knows that wasn't the case. As does indeed Roy Hodgson.

I knew you wood so that is why I posted my response.  :54:  Are you watching any of the golf from Torrey Pines and seeing the wonderful weather we are having here in San Diego? I am in shorts and a Fulham short sleeve shirt with flip flops on getting ready to go run errands.
