Looking at squad will be interesting to see who he picks.  Leno teti Anderson Bassey Robinson berg lukic pierera triore munis Rowe which means one of his favourites owobi could be on the bench imagine he drops triore who scored recently will be a question mark on silva as the player in question as been playing poorly, could be very interesting.

The Rational Fan

I believe Marco Silva will transition very slowly to his ideal XI. All of the current XI can keep their spots provided they play well.

Some of the current starting IX have not been playing well but unfortunately neither have the subs.

Hopefully the new additions will enable Marco to make tactical and motivational changes, ie play well & you keep your place or you get dropped.

I think Andersen has to play. His long passing from the back is tailor made for the speed of Traore on the break.

Thank you and good night

I feel really bad for dropping Diop - He's genuinely been great so far but sadly that range passing for me is going to be key to unlocking defences and getting past the press.

So I think I'd go

--------------Leno-----------------
Tete - Andersen - Bassey - Robinson
------------------Lukic------------
-------Berge-----------------------
Adama---------ESR------------Nelson
-------------Muniz-----------------

or

--------------Leno-----------------
Tete - Andersen - Bassey - Robinson
------------------Berge------------
-------Lukic-----------------------
Adama---------Andreas-----------ESR
-------------Muniz-----------------

As with Marco I think we need way more pressing from Emile than we're currently getting, probably due to his fitness levels so no averse to trying ESR out left.

I have Lukic and Berge as interchangeable, interested to see where they do best, perhaps Berges physicality back there is a useful asset but I do think Lukic has done a very good job there so far.

Iwobi has been great for us at LW but has been in and out of games in the last 3 despite his winner against Leicester. I wouldn't mind Nelson getting a shot early to show what he can do after 2 weeks of working with Marco whilst Alex is away on international break.

Also having First circumstance ya have Iwobi, Andreas, Wilson, Raul as your attacking options off the bench - bit lacking in raw pace.

Second you have Iwobi, Nelson, Wilson, Raul which is a bit sparkier with Reiss' speed.

I will add...If Bassey isn't hitting the usual heights Cuenca will deserve his shot and that could give us even better passing outlets. But for now I want to persist getting Calvin up to speed.
