So Andy once said something unflattering about England - Denis Law said far worse and we don't pillorise him at every opportunity and let's face it we have a long history of downing the Scots. Suck it up people - Andy the greatest Brit ever to play tennis is on the march  :yay:

To get it back on track....

Congratulations to Schwarzer for breaking the games record for Australia. Nothing he could do about the goal. He was easily the best Keeper in the comp and one of the main reasons Australia made the final.

Australia had the better opportunities, more possession, more shots on and off goal. Should have one. The goal from Japan was a peach.

Australia paid for not having a 'proper' striker up front who could finish properly - Tim Cahil and Harry Kewell are probably Australia's 2 best all time players, but they are not strikers.
