Agreed he has been magnificent for club and country but my goodness he had a truly awful game today. He has loads of credit however ...

Lighthouse

I am afraid along with a few others. Today will go down amongst his worst performances of the season.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Surlyc

Agreed, he was awful today. Not the best way to celebrate all the attention and awards he is getting!

Twig

It's harder to name the players who were decent today, apart from Raul being so cool with his pens.

_Putney_

Why, after all this time, has he not learned how to cross the ball?

Twig

In the early games of this season I really thought I was seeing an improvement but today it was back to the worst of the old Robinson. And as for AP's corners, don't even start.

Being a pro footballer, you would think he would have been through some personal training for crosses and final passes.

But it doesn't show!

7 assists this season suggests otherwise

Suggest what? Obviously he knows how to cross the ball. He's a professional football player. So clearly, I'm criticizing the overall quality of his corsses, which today were woeful. 7 assists? Out of how many? How many of those assists were crosses? Give me some more data.

_Putney_

Btw, I count 4 or 5 of his 7 assists were crosses!!!  ::scarf::  ::wine::  ::beer::

COME ON FULHAM! Antonee Robinson is the best full back in the league at the moment for me. Shame he had a bad game.

Tendency to be a bit slow and ponderous with our build up play at home too many safe passes someone has to beat a player.

I think this is what you wanted to post:

https://www.premierleague.com/players/14624/Antonee-Robinson/stats

Now I can compare to other players:

https://www.premierleague.com/players/14732/Trent-Alexander-Arnold/stats
https://www.premierleague.com/players/3955/Kyle-Walker/stats

https://www.premierleague.com/players/10476/Andreas-Pereira/stats Wow! Perreira a better crosser!

If you look at this season he would be ahead of both TAA and Walker. But that wouldn't fit your agenda now, would it?

What agenda!?!?! I think he's been as effective or more effective that both those players. Like I said, he's one of the best fullbacks out there at the moment. Love him!!!

I love fulham soccer side

I was listening to the wireless yesterday and as we approach silly transfer rumour or factual season?? There was a conversation being had that both Liverpool & Man.City are preparing bids for Bournemouth's left back Kerkez? Not sure how he stacks up against Robinson overall but to the eye far more composed than Robinson with ball at his feet. I can see that suiting the likes of Pep as defending seems not a necessity with City whereas Slot wants someone who can defend  firstly?
It would not surprise me if Fulham cash in on Robinson this pre season if the interest is there but to whom?

Love antonee but Kerkez is different gravy, not as quick of course but overall a step above Robinson. Not sure whether id cash in though, he is still top quality for us

Step above in what sense? If you actually compare their stats side by side this season, Jedi beats him on literally every metric, not to mention that Castagne of all people sent him down Fulham Palace road for a hotdog when they came to the cottage

Robinson is always going to inspire debate. Defensively I think he's superb and does well to bomb up and down the pitch as much as he does, regularly making great interceptions and is reliable defensively.

Tactically so much of our attacking play goes through him and his ability to make overlaps meaning he's often in great positions and has got so many assists. I think we can all see at the same time that his delivery isn't that great however. But we can't isolate view of a player to one aspect of their game, it's a holistic thing and his overall games is a huge net positive.

For example Bryan is more comfortable with the ball at his feet, and not many players could pull off what he did against Brentford, but he offered nowhere near what Jedi does in most other aspects of his game. Notably with Jedi too he has improved year after year.
