Quote from: demeant0r on February 01, 2026, 02:44:08 PMHave to say, apart from their goal they've not troubled much. We're still very much in it.

Yep
Free kick aside we've defended fairly well and  had some chances

Don't think anyone's really played poorly

Ref been a homer but were very much in it

SP

Harry not getting a sniff so far

That was an outrageous bit of skill from Raul. Class.

St Eve

Chuk scares then to death

Quote from: Milo on February 01, 2026, 02:43:06 PMRight, I've seen enough.

Subs:

Kevin on for ESR.
Push Kevin LW, Chuk RW, bring Wilson in behind Raul.

Wilson more dangerous centrally, and Chuk out right will vary things up a bit and test their left back.

Sooner we do the better.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist but I can't help but feel the ref is playing the occasion more than the game.

We're reasonably compact but need more creative / attacking intent. This United team need a bit of a bloody nose - we're letting them dictate (with the ref's help)

Chukwueze is better playing on the right & cutting in, he's not covering Jedi at the moment

St Eve

Palace level but Bees are winning

Rambler

I think it's been quite even.

The commentators and ref are desperate for a Man U win

SP

Not a bad half, hopefully our subs will have an impact

It's always like this, especially when that prawn Alan Smith is commentating.

Fulham have had more possession and shots in the first half.

Shame Onanana wasn't still there, ah well.

ESR actually decent,  just not brilliant. Can see the argument for pushing Wilson there with chuk right Kevin left. But would hold out another 20+ and see how we go.

Would LOVE to have had Bobb off the bench today to run at them on tired legs but ah well.

Berge was very good first half.

We're playing well. As expected, it's a very tough match. Just need a bit more quality in the final third.

I still think we should have started with a back 5. Robinson and Castagne (in particular Robinson) have struggled, and our midfield looked superb at times offensively but got bypassed quite easily defensively(although Berge has done a good job). 5 atb would have solved both those things.

Don't get the Chukwueze and ESR criticism. I thought both were more effective than Wilson.

Ref has been terrible.

KJS

Def6biased by ref towards Utd but I think it we need to replace Robinson with Sess at half time

I think our fullbacks had a couple shaky moments but generally also did plenty right TBF. Diallo is very tricky.

Surely Man United shouldn't have had a free kick leading to the goal, if you're checking whether or not it's a penalty, you can't then give a free kick, i.e. the whole point of VAR. It's re-refereeing the game? It should be a goal kick...
Joe, Newton Abbot

I'm now officially confused! We are told that VAR can't intervene for fouls outside the box. There was clearly no foul inside the box as the defender got the ball! Therefore, the decision should have been a corner to Utd or am I missing something?

Yes..you are..it should've been a goal kick
