Can't believe no one has mentioned Andersen...won almost everything for the dangerous set piece they chucked in. Passing quality as well...ball for the Sess cross for the own goal. Whole defence and keeper brilliant though. Sess has proved to be such a solid full back and didn't think he had it in him.

Iwobi class coming inside and showing he could play 8 for me as sane vs Chelsea. Muniz after a poor first 20 was brilliant I thought. Back to being such a handful and so unlucky not to score. Harry superb finish yet again. Thought Josh mistake aside was class as well and shows the maturity as actually better after the mistake. Just cruised second half having already won it but honestly could have been 4 or 5 nil as mistake aside they never looked like scoring. Get the f in.

Yes, Andersen looks much fitter this season, possibly carrying a knock last season?

Million times better with Tete next to him. Defo better with short hair too.  ::thumb::

Difficult choice Sess,Tete, muniz, but it's iwobi scored and created the first 2 goals so deserves it.

Quote from: wback100 on September 20, 2025, 10:07:55 PMPretty good all round, but extra credit to the defending, which saw off a lot of good set pieces and long throws. Could have done with a bit more control from 60 mins on, but they didn't/couldn't hurt us. Shame Muniz  goal didn't count, as he absolutely thrashed it, but was a foul. Four fairly tough games coming up, but we've set ourselves up well enough.
Defending was solid apart, from the awful error that put us behind! We do still need to cut out unforced errors, because they will get punished. It was also good to see us putting shots in on goal more often.

Somerset Fulham

I am sure the usual suspects will moan about something but that was a good performance and a cracking result.  Putting those little sh!ts back in their place is always fun and I will fully enjoy reading them meltdown on their boards this evening.

Tete was outstanding and nullified their entire left side on his own so defintely MoM, despite Iwobi (who should have been dropped by the experts) being instrumental in the win.

Muniz was dreadful in the first half, but equally he was dynamite in the second which sums the guy up for me.

Good result though Fulham, onwards and upwards.

Thought this comment about Harry Wilson was funny on the Brentford Reddit today:

"His father must have swallowed a bee in a pub in Brentford so he decided his point of life is making people who like brentford suffer".  :slap:

MOTM is going to be tied between Muniz and Iwobi and I chose Muniz.

Muniz ??? Are you drunk. He was hapless ...
MOM between Sess, Anderson, Tete and possibly Cuenca who had an incredible performance in the final 10 mins

Fulhamight

Anderson has been great this season and in this match.

Alex Iwobi for me....but it was a close thing - because all were very good

Are you? He was essential in the two goals we actually scored, he bullied their defence all night and should've scored if VAR didn't have it or for him.

So a draw between burnley and forest goes before a victory for us in a derby game on motd... joke of a service

Sess for me, too. He's matured into a proper Premier League player.

Carborundum

Iwobi.  Gave us movement, drive and craft.  His pass to Harry Wilson was magnificent, really as good as one will see.  Its tempting to think his goal is scrappy, but there's technique and desire in equal measure in that finish.

Tete, Bassey, Anderson and Sess utterly dominant.  Bassey doing Igor Thiago very enjoyable.  Any one of them would be worthy MoM winners.

Kimbleman

Tete. All evening they got nothing down his wing and he often offered something going forward. My MoM

He wasn't hapless IMO, he had the ball smashed at him all night from all angles and at different heights, and was expected to control it with three centre backs breathing down his neck. He got beaten up and still managed to be a nuisance. Deserved a goal and I felt bad his was disallowed, but he left their defender needing a blood transfusion so it's hard to argue with the decision.

I presume that due to the lateness of the game. The BBC had very little time to cut and edit the match so that would explain the fact it was last.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Difficult to single out someone, but I will go with Muniz. He battled and battled
