Ridiculous pricing but probably no surprise. ::angry::

Considering that the US is the main host they will seriously struggle to sell tickets , hardly anyone wants to travel to the US , they are currently staring at a more than $45 billion hole in their tourism market and its still climbing , next impact will be on the major snow resorts
If it wasn't for the medication I,d be chewing on your skin

Insane prices and with lots more early round matches with v weak teams you have to. expect half empty stadia and little atmosphere (except the fake atmosphere whipped up for the cameras).

Must have put TK and SK in charge of the pricing stratagy

Quite frankly it stinks the house out. They should be ashamed - but of course they will not care a jot .

Not to mention the fact that if you want travel to the US to attend matches, you have to give the Trump administration access to 5 years of your social media history. Frankly, the rest of the world should just boycott this abomination. And I say that as an American.

That idiotic policy is not in effect yet because it has to go through a public comment period. Hopefully it will not be approved.

it's a shame that the expanded world cup that FIFA so contemputuously say will bring more people into the football family, kick the real supporters in the 'you know where' prices those self same people out of attending. The grounds will be stuffed full of coporate jollies and hangers on. No normal person can afford those prices let alone factoring in travel.

I hope the world cup is genuinely an abject failure and the stadiums are souless and half empty.

FIFA are killing the beutiful game, I loathe them and their leader. Disgraceful!

Not cheap but it's a once in every four years event. Supply and demand.

Why are the fans treated so badly by FIFA and EUFA. We are no more than cash cows, all they want are the corporate expenses paid mob with their partners, some of whom have never been to a football match in their life before. Of course someone has to pay for all those celebrities who attend. WelI am not going and if I won the lottery tonight I still would not attend.

Now we learn of the ticket prices we know why Infantine Infantino and his Fifa muckers enlarged the number of countries taking part from 32 to 48. Revenue! However, they have done more that just shoot themselves in their feet. They are b******** up the game at the highest level.

How on earth was anyone able to sit at their grand leather top desk and come up with those prices?  ::tongue::  ::angry::

The top echelon of people on this planet, like Trump, Musk, Infantino, Abramovic, Putin et al, just do whatever they want. They don't care about the working person who would travel thousands of miles to watch a sporting event, they care about £s.
I too hope this world cup is an empty one, but I don't think it will be. Look at the hoards of tourists at every Premier league game, look at the prices they pay for tickets. It'll be full but soulless and no doubt Trump will present Infantino with a medal for "Best World Cup Ever Organiser" or some other rubbish. It's laughable but sad.

Going to big sports in the USA is generally more expensive than PL football mind you. Decent tickets at Basketball, NFL and NHL set you back 100s if not 1000s

I've not filled out an ESTA in a while but I'm sure there is a question re social media etc anyway.

Pity the boarder patrol officier that has to read through the whole of the Summer Silly Seanson Transfer Thread on 2025!

Unfortunately, that's an acceptable amount for businesses and a lot of people in the world, so people will pay it, may not be football fans but bums will be on seats.

But this isn't new, the traditional fan will be priced out in less than a decade I think,  , look at the outrage on here, BBC, and other outlets at our "most expensive season ticket in the world", sold out within a day or 2 I believe.

Owners want cash and fans are happy to continue to dig deeper and keep handing it over.

Only one way to reduce ticket prices but fans won't boycott game after game.

Its a disgrace and whats frustrating about FIFA is because they are sitting on the easiest product to sell, they never get punished for their corruption, greed and incompetence.

The one thing that FIFA (or the Olympics) get away with is once the event starts, a lot of the negative chatter goes away. Every major global event has a horrific lead up of PR stories talking about how bad the event is run or issues along the way. And then the event starts and it all goes away. Even the Club World Cup ended up being pretty good and as a fan you get sucked in.

I am American, and the prices are outrageous. I live in Seattle and the cheapest ticket for Belgium vs Egypt is $400 (USD). We have a 5 year old son so to go watch 2 teams I dont have a major affiliation without outside of knowing players like Salah and KDB, it would be $1,200 to go to the game. We will not be paying that.
