Odd one this. Brown should and could have made it at the very top. He was given chances others never have. While he never seemed to let anybody down on the odd game he was called upon he never seemed to push ahead.

If he wants to he will find somewhere he can shine. Otherwise he will join the long list of players who one forgets ever had a chance.

Shame if Brown doesn't make the breakthrough. Might be a case of being not quite talented enough for the Premier League and not quite physical enough for the lower leagues.

Early days for Milsom but would be pleased to see him do well.
