I did not think it was a great Fulham performance.  I thought several players had an off day and did not play very well.  I really was thinking that Tom should have come on earlier, as the game was crying out for his creativity.  I was surprised to see Tete go off, but what do I know?

Harry is currently one of the only consistent players in my mind right now, and it was his quick thinking to chip the ball back into the box that led to the goal.    Good on Raul for being there again to head in, but for me, Harry is the man of the match for creating chances.
Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Thirteen clear of the bottom three... three points off of the billionaires from down the road...

Palace next ...

SP

Three away wins on the trot = happy days!

Went with Raul. Unlike the Forest game, I don't think anyone particularly stood out here. No one was poor no one was excellent, Raul scored the winner = Raul MOTM.

Was, yet again, not a match for the neutral but I think that's good. That's two clean sheets in a row and three wins in a row, I don't remember the last time we achieved that. Another great assist by the Wizard himself and three points. Not much to complain about.

Harry is obviously the MotM, and definitely not to any of the defenders who kept giving West Ham space to shoot.

Cuenca for me, solid at the back for the whole game

Milo

Wilson for me. Constant threat on the wing and the calm assist for the goal.

WindyCity

I don't think there was any player that really stood out, didn't think a very well played game by FFC, though we were the better team, just couldn't be constructive in the final third.

Voted for Jimenez, strictly for the goal scored, he didn't fluff it, buried it, well done.

SerbianLad

We'll finish this round in the top half.

I thought Cuenca had a pretty good game.  He did get turned there once, but so did Andersen.

Also, the black shorts just look better than all white  ::scarf::

No-one shone in a particulary strong way, it was a solid performance.. our defence did well and nullified a lot of what West Ham threw at us. I've gone for Robinson though. He was robust defensively and his pace and quality going forward really gave us an outlet to get up the pitch and meant West Ham couldn't rely on their laurels.

I thought Jimenez, Cuenca, Tete, Andersen and Leno all did well, as did Wilson and ESR

A number of solid performances.

Thought Kevin was the most off the pace for some reason - I'm a fan, and think he'll come good, but for some reason it just wasn't working for him today, which is a shame, as I'd love nothing more than for him to get his first goal as I think it'll do him the world of good and once he's got that confidence he'll be firing on all cylinders.

Thought the defence were all solid and Cuenca is certainly showing us that he is a very decent option at CB. Few decent moments for Jedi including one tracking back but he still looks like he needs more playing time. Delighted for Raul but he really was non existent for most of the 90 mins. I went for Harry as he was the one consistently looking to create chances. Cuenca runner up.

Cuenca for me as well - just solid, no fuss, no loose passes

Like a short walk in a long forest after a breakfast of cold porridge ............but 3 points away, 3 wins on the bounce and up to 10th 👍🏁
If it wasn't for the medication I,d be chewing on your skin

Fulham 1879

While we weren't particularly fluent and there were plenty of individual errors, there was a lot of energy from start to finish from many of the players that made a difference overall: Tete, Cuenca, Robinson, Lukic, Wilson and Jimenez all run their socks off. I gave MOTM to Jimenez, but Wilson, Robinson and Cuenca were close behind.

Very pleased with the points, and hopefully West Ham can go down this year.

I picked Cuenca, liked what I saw from him today.

Raul for me...he battles for 90 minutes, not everything coming off...but when the chance comes, he's in the right place and he buries it. Marco trusts him for a reason. He's a top player.

A mate does stats, and here is an interesting one.

West Ham United were caught offside seven times today against Fulham - their most times in a Premier League game since March 2016 at Upton Park versus Spurs (also 7).

Have we built ourselves an offside trap?

First Rule of competing in Football is to make yourself hard to score against, and in doing so you make yourself hard to beat.
That becomes a habit as confidence grows.
Because we achieved another clean sheet, and as much as you want to score as many goals as you can.
The clean sheet meant we only needed to score one goal.
It all creates a domino effect like a thousand piece jigsaw puzzle coming together.
Good habits contribute to winning games.
Yes we have played better in other games and lost, but so what, Marco went there to bring us back 3 points one way or another, and with the application of the players he achieved that, and that is what counts, not looking pretty and comfortable to play against.
To win there after so many years is a great satisfaction for everyone involved with Fulham.
In the same way when we won at Burnley after all those years.
History means nothing, it is what happens today and on the day that counts.
Fulham had more possession and more attempts at goal, which is on this occasion why we won.
Keeping a clean sheet means one goal is enough.
Pleased for Marco, pleased for the players, please for the travelling supporters and the ones that were unable to attend.
As for man of the match, there were a few candidates but it was also an all round team performance and they are the foundations for a possible unbeaten run.
I find it tough to name one player, so I am sharing it around amongst these guys.
Cuenca, Wilson, Jimenez all deserve a mention for different reasons, but there were others like Tete and Robinson.
3 more precious points worth their weight in gold.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

You're correct. I've been bemoaning before the last two games how we have only kept 2-3 clean sheets meaning we had to score at least 2 every game to win. We've managed to double or nearly double it in the last two games so let's hope this continues, starting with Palace on Thursday.
