"I don't believe that would be possible if they were actually racist." But fans don't get a single say as to who the club signs so it is possible to sign black players and sometimes racists will not have a problem with you if you're scoring 20 goals a season. Not a very good idea for the club to do so if they know they have racist fans. An ex of mine also worked at a bar near Millwall and said they were vile people. I pray they don't grace the Prem with their idiocy.

I didn't say that in regards to them having black players, but rather in regards to some of their black players being their favourite players. The players I've mentioned are/were real fan favourites. I guess they weren't amongst those who are actually racist.

I guess if you're as good as Eze, even racists can give you a pass. Anyway, I will be cheering for every team facing Millwall (which is unfair to Benda).

Not Eze, Esse. His stats weren't even that great, but they adored him. They seem to love Femi Azeez now and also a lot of them like e.g. Sturge and Bangura-Williams right now.

You know, even though he plays for Palace now I've never even heard of Esse or Femi Azeez (Not been following Championship this season apart from Norwich). I suppose, just like Josh King if they're "one of our own", racist fans are less likely to abuse them

But the surprising thing to me is that not only do they not abuse them, they absolutely love them, hence why I thought most of them aren't actually racist.

That being said, I've now learned that some of them (and not even a low number) are actually racist and that's absolutely horrible. That's indefensible.
