Are West Ham down? And should it happen how will they fill their ground next season. Is Upton Park still available? Or will it finish them as a club? It is all very interesting but how can they survive with the loss of TV money and the fans who will desert them if they are relegated as looks ever more likely

They are down if they don't get it together quickly. Forest are playing better and Leeds is solid. It won't sink the club because of parachute payments but they will need to have a massive selloff due to wages and there is some value in that squad. Bowen and Fernandes will fetch very nice fees.

AFC Bournemouth
Burnley
Wolves
And no guarantees any of them will be promoted next season.

Considering we are missing possibly our best 3 players this season , have a 35 year old up top running on fumes . Thats a big red flag for West Ham , it's going to be very tough for them to stay up . Always need your home form and I can't believe any of the players enjoy performing at the London stadium . What a soulless place .

I want the cheats to go. It's taken time but revenge is a dish best served cold. Wipe the smug look off of Brady's face.

100% mate
They can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned

They probably are finito. Teams around them are scraping points and they look very beatable. Awful stadium too, making it hard to gee up the players.

It's the London Stadium that will kill them as every match feels like an away game

If you did a poll among West Ham fans, I bet the vast majority wish they still played at the old Boleyn Ground/Upton Park.

The new stadium wasn't designed for football and is completely devoid of atmosphere - imagine what it will be like when it's only a third full in the lower divisions!

Unfortunately Upton Park was demolished in 2016 so no chance of them ever being able to go back there.

For West Ham relegation appears considerably more likely than not.  Confidence is at a low ebb, new manager bounce behind them and of the teams they might catch, only Bournemouth are looking like they might sink - and that's unlikely.  Forest and Leeds both have enough about them to pick up points.  Their ground has a distinct identity -  but unfortunately that's as something other than a football ground.  Their owners are a bit stuck for ideas and cash.  Their players are overpaid.  Must be some chance they become a cross between the least favoured aspects of QPR and Milton Keynes.

If they don't win against Wolves in early January, there will be a mountain to climb.

West Ham Fans going to a stadium they did not want,
under owners they did not want.
Their club has been stolen from them
by the money men.
We are very lucky with the owners we have atm.

They weren't complaining when they won the tinpot Conference League though, were they?

Hugh Janus

Wolves, Burnley and one of Bournemouth and West Ham. I think West Ham have enough to pull themselves out but then need to get a wriggle on

john dempsey

Be very strange to complain when you win a Trophy.
the Trophy just papered over the cracks.
Money men stole their club, and we are very lucky
to have khan .ATM

Craven Mad

Burnley and Wolves are as good as gone IMO. Not good enough squads.

The next spot is harder to call. I think it'll be West Ham to go down this year, but I think Bournemouth could go down if they lose Semenyo.

Holders

Couldn't happen to a nicer club.

I remember how they avoided the drop at the expense of Sheffield United due to a dodgy transfer arrangement. Sheff Utd haven't got back since and there's always 1975...

They shouldn't have got that stadium anyway. Let 'em rot.

Spot on. I saw a video by some Villa fan rating the LS, he made a valid point that all football fans should be against the kind of rubbish that has befallen West Ham fans.

We still sing a song about CC from years ago when it looked like there was a chance of being moved permanently (yes I know that was also re: Loftus Road).
