In my opinion, this was another performance that did not quite meet expectations. While Fulham Football Club (FFC) had some promising moments during the first half, it seemed that Brighton maintained the upper hand for most of the period.

One standout moment was the impressive goal by Chukwueze, which brought the match back to level terms. This goal shifted the momentum and gave Fulham renewed hope.

Despite initial doubts about Fulham's chances of winning, Wilson managed to make a decisive impact once again, securing victory for the team.

Given these events, who would you choose as your Fulham on Fulham (FoF) Man of the Match (MOTM), and what is your reasoning behind the selection?
Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Even though Harry scored a last minute screamer, I'm giving it to Chuk. He completely changed the game when he came on.

Same here.  He really is some player.

Pretty rubbish game but I'll take that. We're up to seventh. Seventh!

The weather was MoTM for how much swazz it put on Wilson's free kick, I'm claiming the assist for the successful reverse psychology attempt on Wilson and we were a bit crap for like 80% of the game. I think we need a new RB to compete with Tete because Castagne is not very good, we need Bassey back in because Cuenca defensively was a bit suspect at times and I look forward to signing Bobb & Pepi hopefully to freshen the attack up a bit.

Sign Chucky ASAP because he is mustard.

What a relief, I'll take a win in whatever way it comes. Some feedback from the BHA board:

'I hate Fulham almost as much as Tottenham. Day light robbery. F*** VAR'

Thought Leno was at fault for their goal but after seeing Harry's goal I think he had no chance

Hate to say it but Robinson and Kevin stunk the place out, definitely looked a lot better with Sess and Chuck

The wind was causing havoc with the ball all game, from watching the replay of Wilson's goal it was moving all over the shop so I think we should give the keepers a bit of leeway because the balls are designed to move about on a still day let alone in a gale

They were unlucky but Welbeck was definitely offside. There can be no arguments.

Yeah on the freeze frame a large portion of his body was offside and tbh in real time it looked suspect so not really sure what their issue with VAR is because for once it did the job properly

Awful game , we just looked like 2nd hand wet lettuce , no formation no plan . Nothing actually happened until Marco made some subs and we got some energy back , surprised that Marco let Wilson have the full game but we would have walked away empty handed if he didn't . Up to 7th but we have multiple problems to fix
If it wasn't for the medication I,d be chewing on your skin

I put Anderson.

Not what I expected honestly, I think Brighton will feel pretty gutted to lose that. Not going to lose any sleep over it though!

Not a good perfomance but 3 points
in the bag = a good day.
chukweze for me.

Some criticisms here but....a win when you play poorly is always a huge bonus when it is in our favour..

Chukwueze came on and completely changed the game

Spark, quick forward thinking ideas

Sign him up, he's exactly what our attack has needed

Was it our best game?no, but the sign of a good team is finding a way even on bad days

Jules

We need to stick with Sess and Chuk down the left side for now. Kevin cant be starting. Give him minutes off the bench. Hope Tete is back for the next game. Great to get the 3 points today. We may not have deserved it but weve been on the other end of these results many times. Fantastic free kick from Harry wins it.

some namby pamby moments, but also showed some much needed gusto before they scored. We are crying out for a character in the middle who will rally people when we start to slip. very nice finish from chuk. to be balanced he offers us less in defense,  but undoubtedly changed the game today. I liked iwobi in the middle. Great strike from Harry but it's a slight error from the keeps. Brighton looked liquid at times, fair play to them

Same. Thought he was solid defensively and it's good to see his accuracy in the long pass back.

As a partnership Sess & Chuck were so much better than Jedi & Kevin. I've said it so many times that success requires players that partner up to be more than the sum of the parts. Perhaps Sess and Chuck is such a pairing?
We desperately need a successful CM pairing, Lukic & Berge are too conservative but Berge & Iwobi doesn't look secure enough. Frankly I'd be letting one of our CM's go in order to try a new combo.
Same goes for our CB pairing Cuenca is pretty decent but I question whether the Andersen & Cuenca pairing is the right one.

ffcthereligion

Not our best performance, too ponderous, but they made life very difficult for us with their press.

A disgusting performance from Castagne and again Leno getting beaten poorly from range.

But Marco got it right with his subs, both in terms of personnel and timing, and a fantastic win in the end. Wilson in form of his life and fantastic composure from chuk. King winning the foul for the free kick at the end.

Overall we won that game because we had individual players of quality. Those tactics would have had us second best otherwise. Way too much room in the midfield, our backline was exposed multiple times. We seemed to want to play on the break at times but we were only direct enough to leave massive holes behind ESR and Iwobi.
