I dunno I just find it difficult to believe Garcia would be that keen on coming here. There really has to be interest from a club with European football, and if not why not.

It may be like many things in life, you follow a manager who believes in you and makes you feel like a world beater
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

I will say that I am nervous the club reportedly going to €40m.for Garcia.

He only made double digits once for a season at any level, when he got 25 for Castilla.

6 goals for senior side last year, but that's across 4 games, one where he got a hat trick. 30 ish apps overall

AA rates him, but feels a big risk to bank that much on him if rumours were true.

But that's also because I'm lost on what value would be these days with all the inflated fees.

I'm all for doing something, and understand that frustration, but with more and more financial systems, it's a big risk. I hope I'm proved wrong if it goes ahead though, and think AA would be chuffed if we did.

Just read that Real have agreed a deal to sign Diomandé for a 100+ mio.....does that mean that Real will release one, or both, of the guys that Arbeloa wants?

Quote from: Mullers OG on July 25, 2026, 01:42:10 PMI for one certainly don't want Andersen to leave. The bedrock of our defence and the latest in a long line from J Dempsey, Mathewson, Lacy, Brown, Coleman, Hangeland etc. None of them, except possibly Coleman, blessed with pace but all solid reliable CB.

Hangeland was a much better player than Anderson IMO.
Anderson looked like a carthorse last season.

Lacy?! He exasperated Moore and Mullery
I always thought that Ernie Howe was a good centre half around that time.

Good centre-half, but annoyed me because my then girlfriend kept banging on about how handsome he was.
I was glad when he was transferred to QPR. I gave the girl an Underground ticket to White City and never saw her again. Last lady I ever took to a football match.

Noise around Garcia and Franco is growing and expected to leave "in the coming days" on permanent and Liam deals respectively

Wether both or either end up here we'll see but obviously we've been heavily linked

Ipswich signed Daizen Maeda for 10m. Would've loved to have signed him, think he plays a bit like Raul.

Some gossip!

Never understand what is meant by "preparing to make an offer".
Looking for a stamp?
Searching for Real Madrid's email address?
Necking back a few beers to get the nerve to make an offer you know you can't really afford?

Think generally what it means is interest has been gauged on the player side and potentially informal discussions have taken place between the clubs and the bidder is prepping their official bid with any clauses and what not

In out in out and shake it all about

Same guy now saying Trabzonspor have now accepted our offer

FFN also reporting it get's done today
https://x.com/FulhamTransfer/status/2080617781553254430?s=20

If so - somehow bang in line with the seemingly regular time we seem to make our first new signing (24th-26th July)

EDIT* FFN saying he means the deal agreed obviously not the full transfer (which will presumably require a medical etc) So now I think about it, whats the likelihood even if we agree the deal with club today that the player is able to fly out have his medical and move house before Monday?

Suppose if we got him on a plane tomorrow to UK he could do his medical at the weekend and move into somewhere temporary and join the team soon as he's able to

I don't doubt that FFN may hear bits and pieces, but I struggle to see much evidence that he's got any genuine inside knowledge on most things he tweets about.

What stands out to me is that he rarely breaks stories himself. Most of the time he follows existing rumours and adds cryptic updates that make it sound like he has inside information. The problem for me is that the updates are often so open ended that they're almost impossible to prove wrong.

For example, you'll get one tweet saying he expects a deal to get done because Fulham are optimistic. Then, a little later, there'll be another saying Fulham could still walk away if their conditions aren't met. Both statements can be true during negotiations, but together they cover almost every eventual outcome.

* The player signs: "We said all along Fulham were optimistic."
* The deal collapses: "We told you Fulham could still walk away."
* Fulham move on to another target: "The club decided to pursue other options."
* Nothing happens for days or weeks: "Talks are still ongoing."

That's why I find it difficult to judge the reliability of the information. There never seems to be a point where you can clearly say, "That was wrong," because every possible scenario has already been accounted for in previous updates.

That's why, to me, it feels much more engagement driven reporting.

FFN broke the interest in Nwaiwu back in June. He also broke that Bissouma was training at MP & that Fulham want Palacios from Real Madrid, McNally to York he was first too.

There are things he says that I question but I've no doubt he has info from somewhere that does bare fruit. I think his issue is he's so desperate to keep the fan base upto date that he says every update he hears, even if it's insignificant.

I think he's the closest thing Fulham have to an ITK but I think sometimes his love for the club sees him jump the gun.

No he isn't in any way shape or form, he's an information gatherer, he follows over 4,000 accounts constantly looking for information on Fulham,
He has never on one single occasion "broken " a story about Fulham before it has appeared elsewhere on X
He doesn't even attend games.
I've got nothing against the kid but I do object when he starts using terms like "I've been told" " I'm hearing " etc because that is total B.S

Another one shooting down an ITK before they even know what they do, claiming BS, which is why people leave this forum, and others, due to fan arrogance.

Yes, he follows 4k odd accounts, but makes the effort to get close to creditable journalists, people close to those clubs, players, who do share valuable info.

He will only share stuff from what he believes is credible outlets or people, not just any spam-bait accounts.

And no, I don't him, just give the lad a break, who puts a lot of time and effort into something you probably wouldn't.

He monitors over 4,000 accounts looking for information,if you want to blow smoke up his a*** because you're very naive then good for you, but i won't be ,
Does he ever report on things behind the scenes at Craven Cottage? No, because that information isn't on X,
Could he tell you some of the very basics like the details of the second or third kit ? No, because again it's not on X,
By all means enjoy his posts for what they are but please don't make absurd claims about him being in any way shape or form ITK, because he isn't,  and he certainly won't be at our first game of the season

I take your point though, but I think he's a real talent.

Player we're linked with and so many seem to excited about just scored an own goal for Trabzonspor in their latest friendly. Why does it feel we're scraping the barrel with this guy for me? What am I missing that everyone's so excited about. He's not worth 30m euros surely, we got ESR, Berge, close to that for Andersen (£25m plus £5m add-ons apparently).

I am not sure I am following your post really. What does him scoring an own goal in a friendly has to do with anything? And how does it translate to scraping the bottom of the barrel?
