The earliest ever transfer for the summer window?

Yes and it makes perfect sense especially as a Marketing strategy  - given the USA is hosting the tournament and to have a prominent member of the squad on our books is an opportunity to take advantage of.

With Pepi and Muniz next season we will still need a 3rd striker
Preferably an inexpensive one,Plymouth have got a young lad called Bim Pepple that has just been called up by Canada, scoring goals for fun, might be worth keeping an eye on

I've  been watching Pepple. His first few games he looked like an actual sunday league striker, utterly out of his depth. But... the lads on fire at the moment. Looks strong, quick, great with head or feet. However, he's spent years going out on loan to 'lesser' clubs and not done amazingly.
His full name is Aribusitamunoipirim, which would sell a few letters on shirts.

For 12m I think JKA might be worth persisting with but well see how he gets on with the u21s I guess. It may well be that with Pepi arriving we could then send him on loan but with the ability to recall him in case of injury, and perhaps have ALB as our third choice in the meantime.

I think hes got that enigma thing about him where he can produce something out of nowhere , he's been showing it for u21s so far in limited performances, but well have to see what the club decides I guess. Marco and the staff will know better than us where they see his potential ceiling

He has been on a journey (not a bad thing) but he's only 23 now so he was very young at some of his clubs,
With the World Cup in Mexico 🇲🇽 USA 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦 how unique would it be to have a Fulham striker representing each host nation, a marketing dream.

Not a Fulham transfer rumour or speculation but just read that both Spurs & Inter are close to agreeing an £17m deal for Vicario. If that figure is true then the world has gone mad! Had he been a free transfer or out of contract I could possibly see why but Inter have every chance of being Champions this season surely they could/would look for at least a good let alone very good keeper for next season if they are replacing Sommer? £17m must surely be a typo error??

Fulham should take a look at Dom Ballard at Orient, 21 goals in 31 appearances in a struggling side and he also had a great goal scoring record at youth level. He is 20 years old.

Rushworth, goalkeeper at Coventry, is attracting attention..

Age 24, £20m banded around.

He's on loan from Brighton.

Brad Dolaghan, 20 year old striker just returned to Worthing after a spell at West Ham as a junior is a name that will be well known in the future.

With Sheffield United not going up this season is Gustavo Hamer a player that we should be considering this summer, always reminds me of Steeeed when I see him play,
He's certainly the "type " of player i think we need in the same way Harvey Elliott is,a role that i think Smith-Rowe was meant to fill.

We should sign Rhys SHirley from Plymouth

He isnt very good but at least we could have Pepi and Shirley as our front two and we could shout Wham if either one scored
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

I know I'm alone here, but Vicario is actually a really really decent keeper. I know he had a stinker against us at their place, but the one on one save he made v ESR was excellent. He was also brilliant v Atletico in the Champs league this week.

Massive step up. Is he any better than Jay Stansfield? The Os are my second team so I've seen Ballard multiple times. I think he'll rightly go to a Championship club next for £3M or so.

Yep, and an upgrade at that!

Ok it's YouTube but he looks a bit special that lad. Apparently a whole host of big clubs sniffing so doubt we'd get a look in, assuming there was anything in the original link?

Apparently psv manager has confirmed pepi being sold

Medical apparently completed so looks like the club has indeed all but got this one tied up

Nice boost going into the summer knowing he'll be with us to try and step into rauls shoes after the world cup. Will watch on with anticipation, hope he has a brilliant run in his home country , be a great thing for him to build off of if he can make an impression

I reckon it may not get announced until the first day of the transfer window, leaving fans in the dark until then, as won't be 'official', and Marco won't want to distract from the current season

Or it'll be announced at some point after the next game/in the international break..

Gus Hamer is 29 this year and while a good Championship player he certainly is not an upgrade on our midfielders.

Tend to agree. Think he is a tidy footballer but another midfielder who lacks more than a yard of pace and our midfield already has three or four you can say the same about.
