AA has to make his style suit Kevin then.

We already seem to have accepted Tete, Andersen and Berge won't work with his tactics. We can't be writing off any more £20m players.

Hodgson worked wonders with a bunch of players largely chosen by Sanchez. AA has to get the most out of the likes of Kevin, and ESR too.
Strange comment and yet got 8 likes. Andersen and Berge didn't play well last year for Silva and neither did Kevin, ESR or Bobb. Perhaps Silva wasted a lot of money on players nowhere near worth their transfer fees.

I mean, following this logic, we write off five relatively recent signings that cost a combined ~£150m, attribute their failure to the last manager making bad decisions, and now let the new manager who's relatively unproven and has only been here a few months, decide how to spend a similar amount replacing them. That would be utterly absurd.

I'm not necessarily saying AA should be expected to work wonders with all of them, but taking Andersen as an example, he offers AA something similar to what Hodgson had with Hughes or Silva had with Ream.
I didn't say write them off. I was disputing a comment that AA can't work with these players unless he adapts to their ways. That was a strange comment when they mostly disappointed last year. Their chances of success are no worse and probably better than under Silva as he didn't get a tune out of them. However, it's those players who have got it all to prove. If they are crap under both Silva and AA then get rid of them. They must play as AA wants them to play.

Anyone familiar with Fulham deadline day knows that the way we do it is first confirm some players out on loan around 9:30, then around 11:15 we do a teaser, announce the first at 11:30, then the second one gets done at midnight.

Followed by confirmation that we didn't get paperwork done in time.

You can't ask a slow player to be fast.

Larsson, Angel and Affengruber all undergoing medicals.

Ratiu deal has collapsed. Rayo Vallecano president Raúl Martín Presa has aggressively blocked the departure, requiring all the transfer fee to be paid up front.

With Tete £9.4m deal to Everton off, seems Toffees have pivoted and agreed a £4.2 million fee with Lyon to sign Ainsley Maitland-Niles instead.

Deal sheets have to be in by 9PM this window.
BBC say deal sheet cannot be used before 9PM. I'm confused.

C Block

Surely we're going to use the loans available to us, why wouldn't we ?

Some of these presidents really don't endear themselves to players by acting like children when it comes to transfers...

So, 3 incomings today?.

I was expecting a winger too

It's 9pm now, so all deal sheets should already be in. Now we wait for the announcements.
