We still can't seem to be able to get even a point against them, regardless of their form or position in the table. I'd try something completely different:

Out of possession:
                Leno
  Diop Bassey Robinson
Tete Berge Iwobi Sessegnon
    Wilson Chukwueze
              Muniz

In possession:
                 Leno
Tete Diop Bassey Robinson
            Berge Iwobi
Wilson Chukwueze Sessegnon
                  Muniz

Basically it would be 5 at the back, but Sess would be given much more license to go forward than Tete when we have the ball. When we are defending we defend with all5 of them.

What with them winning late today they hardly need a lift now for Wednesday?
The concern must be for us after that deflating loss yesterday it could not be a worse time to go there? Marco has an appalling record as Fulham manager against Pep to a point you could argue his belly gets tickled to often?
Just finding it very difficult whatever team or tactics we use to come away from there not getting convincingly beat!
Not the spirit I know but perhaps realistic.

SP

If I'm honest, I have no idea.

Then seeing Paul Tierney is officiating, the odds are stacked again us once again.

I salute the travelling fans.

I'd start the same eleven as Everton, but start Bassey, and I'd better get warmed up

Snibbo

I wonder if they put in a clause saying Bobb can't play in this one?

I'm pretty sure you can't put in a clause like that.

Leno
Diop - Andersen - Bassey
Tete - Berge - Iwobi - Sessegnon
Wilson - Chukwueze
Raúl

Over the course of the next week, Stoke City is the more important of the two games, yet again the Championship sides have got a free week to rest whilst the Premier League sides have got a midweek game and no rest,
I don't really mind which eleven names are put forward to face City but I would suggest that whoever starts against City doesn't start against Stoke, and to be fair our squad is good enough to absorb those changes.

Jim©

I'd drop Leno for this one, see what Lecomte is made of.
We can't have our keeper just gifting goals like he does.

I'd be tempted to play an unchanged team apart from that, that first half against Everton was just about the best we've played all season.

I like your suggestion but I'd swap chuk and Wilson in your in possession proposal so that Wilson is 10 and chuk is on right hand side. Sess can still slot into the back 5

Rodshig

                Leno

Tete Andersen Bassey Cuenca Robinson

          Berge  Reed

     Wilson            Iwobi
             Chuku

Playing not to lose, counter attacking football.

KJS

Id drop Wilson as he's been poor recently ::wink::

alfie

I find it odd that our most proactive player ESR is not included.
Story of my life
"I was looking back to see if she was looking back to see if i was looking back at her"
Sadly she wasn't

Thought you'd been poached by Madrid?

john dempsey

How about a team that can compete for the
whole duration of the match.
That would do for me.

Fulham without defence of set pieces, resilience, ball-winning, ball-retention, threat in behind for the visit to Man City on Wednesday

Thailand Mick

        Leno
Tete Diop Cuenca sess
     Berge Bassey
Chuk     ESR    Kevin
         Raul

Would use Bassey to man mark Harland and Wilson, Muniz and Bobb off the bench.

For the millionth time, there's no way Andersen can play on the right of a back 3. He's way too slow for that role. And even if by some miracle he did play there, Surely it would be Cuenca in the middle and Bassey on the left? You put two of our slowest centrebacks in the two positions that require some pace.

I'd actually give that task to Issa. He's done the man marking succesfully multiple times this season, most notably Woltemade against Newcastle.
