Fulham home games of late when you kind of know or feel the opposition are about to score or sometimes deservedly score. It tends to go on for 10-15mins and you cover your eyes at corners/free-kicks & long throw ins? Us fans can see the issue/s 5mins before it happens or we like to think we do.  Not sure why or if tactically they are told to keep it tight but we seem to semi implode at times the football becomes a "Hot Potato" and teammates become strangers? We seem to have that period of wave upon wave from the opposition until the inevitable.
Trying to think back in the last couple of seasons when we got at teams from the start? Use to be our strong side of the game putting teams on the back foot. This season can only think of Brentford at home when we started strong from the off?
Going back to Everton game and like it has been mentioned we take our chances first half and game is probably over but how do you explain the second half capitulation? We allowed them from the start to get at us and knowing if they score we might wobble?
Yes there were a few below Par performances but biggest issue I think we have is the lack of pace across the back line and centrally in midfield is where we are getting exposed. We can't do anything about it as we do not have apart from Robinson anyone in those areas who are genuine quick.
We have games against teams still to play where we won't be as exposed but last two home league games has shown a distinct flaw in balance of midfield and defence.

On Saturday against Everton...we should've decided the game in the first 45...we were all over them

That first half is probably the best 45 mins of football all season. Everton, for all the chat about how dominant they were in the second half, barely made leno do anything apart from punch the ball into his own net.
We should have been 4 up which is very much getting at a team from the start.

Did you go to the game Jim? I agree we should of gone in more than 1 up though 4 might be extravagant. Remember they had two good chances when the ball flashed across our six yard box only needing a touch which on another day? We never got going until around 15-20mins of the first half if we are talking about exposing Everton or having sustained period of play? I look at getting at a team from the off is exactly that.

Everton also hit the post at 0-0

Yeah I did.

Well we had the two cross bars, we had the save that Pickford made from Chuk when it was curling in, the ESR one on one that Pickford saved and the Raul swivel and shot that went wide. That's 5 really good chances on top of the one that went in.

5 good chances, now multipluy that by our conversaion rate, it wont come to 4, it just highlights we need many chances to rack up goals, particually given the blanks we pull up top

If Raul would've passed to Wilson, almost certainly a goal

We'd already scored one, so three of 4 including a one on one and an empty net that Raul missed??
