Our next three league games are against teams that we have already beaten once this season and who currently sit 18th (West Ham), 17th (Forest) and 19th (Burnley).

What could possibly go wrong?!

SP

I'll go for two wins and a draw but you never know with FFC.

Looking at WHU's remaining fixtures, Wednesday is a massive game for them. Hoping we take our chances and bury them.

Does anyone know what's the record number of doubles we've ever done in a single PL season?

yes. Most in a PL season was the 5 in 2022/23 (Southampton, Forest, Leeds, Leicester, Brighton).

We managed 4 in 2011/12 (Wigan, QPR, Liverpool, Bolton).

Most in any season? Tigana's promotion season of 2000/01 with 10 (Watford, Tranmere, QPR, Forest, Norwich, Huddersfield, Gillingham, Crewe, Palace, Blackburn). We managed 9 in Keegan's promotion season of 1998/99, and we did 9 in Marco's first season of 2021/22.

So if we beat the next three + Wolves we'll have beaten our record

Richard - did you have a part in The 39 Steps ?

ffcthereligion

I would be shocked if we don't lose to West Ham. No reason for it at all, just Fulham isn't it?

Completely this, last season's late equaliser was bad enough. Expecting them to start Adama who hasn't really featured for them as yet.

WHU currently 3/1.

FFC007

It would be very depressing if we got turned over by Parkerball....

I'd hazard a guess just a ChatGPT/Grok or other subscription. It's not always 100% accurate but it's pretty useful for looking such things up very quickly.

As for the next games - Worth noting Wilson could be out as he rolled his ankle against Spurs. Would leave us very short on the wings on wednesday at least.

Chuk and Bobb to start, then could be a case of Iwobi moving wide and Sess coming off the bench to play on the wing given it might well be Kevin AND Wilson out. Harry could be a big miss with his recent scoring though, hopefully he's ok

Hi Jay

No, I prepared a series of spreadsheets during lockdown and I make sure they are updated after each match. Don't use AI!

Jheez sir, its 2026 make your life easier! ha Credit for the hard slog though

p.s If you did just enter that spreadsheet into an LLM asking it such questions as above would take a fraction of a moment also. fwiw but appreciate doing it for the love of the game if not 😅

So far .... 1 point out of a possible 6 .... now for a Burnley hiccup...
Why are we so poor against relegation teams??

Not always the case. I think a couple of seasons ago we didn't lose against any of the bottom five.

Because they are not gutless like we are, we are about intimidating as a butterfly at present
